to start for long time fans of the series you will notice that the game play is a bit diffrent from other halo games. the story is diffrent but would have been better if it was more focues. it felt like a place holder until we get halo 6 and at last for those who fallowed the meta stories that where leading to the game will be sad that the game promised is not the game given

Finished the campaign on "normal" / solo in about 9hrs, and am looking forward to replaying it on Heroic or Legendary in co-op. MP has been quite good as well, and the new Warzone mode (while somewhat divisive, I guess?) is a lot of fun, too. Can't wait for more content while we wait for the next one!

Halo 5 is amazing but isn't perfect

Halo 5 is a great step for 4.6 billion dollar franchise but it is also a step back as well. When I first started the game it brought me such nostalgia with it's main menu ost and was alot more inviting than Halo 4's asain woman singing space odyssey. The cinematics in campaign are really amazing. In game characters new and old are awesome to play as. Gameplay is more natural and feels like a true Halo game unlike Halo 4 and it's BS of CoD like gameplay. But what Halo 5 really lacks on is story and reason for this is that in the parts of campaign where a Halo player would expect more details about what's going on in recent events it only gives hints of what happened and the rest you have to look for yourself by checking Halo lore. There are few other flaws to campaign but these are all spoilers. But what campaign lacks in satisfactory the multiplayer doesn't. Everything about multiplayer is addicting and non complex to figure out. It's also the most tactical Halo multiplayer ever. Halo 5 is also one those very few games that does micro transactions right because it's not foced upon and trade off for this is free map packs. Halo 5 is a amazing game but it's not worth full price of retail for campaign only.

to start out this game is a great addition to the franchise. Yes there is no split screen it doesn't bother me even on a 40" tv the screen split screen sucks for online. Story is decent 60fps is nice and arena is a fun fast paced 4v4 war zone is also fun haven't played to much online only rank 10 or so. Def a good game worth the pick up for x1

Solid game, wanted more single player missions and plot developments but understand what they are doing (don't want to go into more detail for spoilers). Multiplayer is fun but the playlist has a tendency to have you play the same 2 - 3 maps and rarely toss in another which gets boring. Hopefully they release new maps in the next month or two.

Halo 5 finally feels like a step back towards the classic feel of Halo we all loved back with Halo 1 and 2. The Limited Edition has a nice metal case and a few extras like Req cards and a statue. Not sure if it's really worth getting the limited edition unless you like the keepsake value.

Love the layout and special weapons I got with my limited edition. Halo is amazing as always. Waited so long for this game to come out and couldn't be happier. Multi player sessions are my favorite by far. The story line mode is pretty sick too. Never disappointed, Halo always impresses.

The multiplayer is awesome, the graphics are awesome, it's a technical feat. Get it. It's a 5 star game, but buyer beware: When I opened my brand new limited edition case from The Best Buy North of Houston in NYC the package was broken. No one would take my return.

Not much can be said... it's Halo. The classic game play and same enemies. With that begin said Halo 5 still delivers outstanding graphics for the nex-gen console and maintains a huge following. I like it better than the last few Halo installmemts. I have yet to beat the campaign bit so far the story seems solid. We shall see.

The limited edition is great, but the game itself is disappointing. The campaign is nothing that I was expecting. However, the gameplay is awesome and multiplayer is some of the best in the series. The only thing I want the game to do now is add Forge and bring back custom game settings, and add more game modes and maps.

I mainly bought this because of the special edition being available for $59.99. The storyline is not what I expected from this, just feeling odd. Multiplayer is fun and frantic as always, but It may be that I'm starting to feel fatigued with Halo.

It's a great collection item whoever is into the Halo universe. It comes with unique items and the steelbook is great to hold it all in. Definitely worth the purchase to keep and share what I obtained for the new trilogy on current generation.

If you are new or a veteran to the series this game brings elements that will keep you playing both new and classic modes for multiplayer have not tried the campaign out yet but if it is like previous campaigns it will be fun and entertaining the whole way through.

I've been playing this series from the beginning. The campaign takes his story in ,let's just say, an interesting direction. The online multiplayer, which I've never been a huge fan of, is amazing. The introduction of a new mode, Warzone, is great. The shooting mechanics is smooth and fun. A definite buy.
