I have loved the Halo series since I was younger playing with my family and finally got my own xbox when the Master Chief collection was announced. I enjoy that even though the multiplayer had huge problems. Glad to say that they made sure that things would run smoothly this go around. This is worth picking up if you want to continue the lore or just have some more fun in the world of Halo.

I wanted to get the Digital Deluxe edition, but since gamersclub doesn't let you get a discount on digital items, I went with this edition. I can't complain though, it comes out cheaper in the end and it comes with a great steelbook! Midnight launch ahoy!

This is an awesome game. Only bad thing is that they removed split screen mode.

The multiplayer is tons of fun. If you can look over the sub par story, the overall gameplay is superb.

Halo 5: Guardians has excellent storytelling and voice-acting as well as tight, top of the line gameplay. I've never felt more like a Spartan than in this entry. I already am eagerly anticipating news of Halo 6. The general style and unfolding of the campaign does feel a little more like Halo 2 in that it's a split campaign. Some may like this more than others. Highly recommended!

I got the feeling early in that this felt a lot more like the first Halo game than anything, except with a sign that things have improved. Lovely worlds, a few new guns and vehicles, and a great (though short) story. I'm very excited about the next Halo game. The multiplayer is fun. Warzones is great, 12v12 w/ territory control. If you've got an XB1, you've gotta get this game.

Mp is a return to form.... but the hype surrounding the story falls flat and is only around 6 hers.

With the Gamers Club Unlocked program and $5 deposit, I got this limited edition for $81.99. Not too bad of a price for a fan of Halo and getting just about every special edition that had come out. There was some cool pieces of lore, a little metal guardian and req packs that will be released 2 over the course of 7 weeks. Game itself is great, would recommend to any halo fan

A even bigger, better installment in the Halo series! If you're a fan of the multiplayer this is an obvious buy, but what makes these last two 343 industries games so special is the campaign! Previous Halo campaigns felt stale compared to its multiplayer system, while this one you can tell they spent a lot of time humanizing Master Chief.

Not the best or worst in the series. Story is a little week but gameplay is tight.

I have bought every Halo game since it began and this game has to be my least favorite. I beat the games story in a little over 4 hours on heroic difficulty, so I was not to happy about that, but online play was well developed and the games graphics were great. Would have rated higher but the story.....................

Hands down one of the best halo releases this year it's up there with Halo 2 and Halo Reach. No connectivity issues what so ever, and war zone is hands down the best experience ever strategy is key it's not how good you are it's how well you work as a team. It is a must buy for Xbox One owners and also a must buy for New Xbox one owners

You can look elsewhere for notes about the gameplay and campaign itself, this review will be entirely focused around the contents of the special edition and whether or not it is worth the price. The special edition of Halo 5 comes with a tin case, some dossier cards of the two Spartan teams in the campaign, some DLC, and a build it yourself metal model of the titular Guardian. The metal case is good, looks and feels good and is a very nice addition to a collection of such things. However, the rest of the items included in the special edition are not worth the price, I think. The DLC is nice I guess, if you play a lot of multiplayer. I haven't used it yet. The dossier cars are pretty cool, but they're nothing compared to the Halsey journal from Halo Reach. And, lastly the metal model is an absolute pain in the rear. It looks cool, don't get me wrong, what it is an extraordinary pain to assemble. I broke several of the fragile pieces, and almost all of the pieces in the model are fragile. It was also generally difficult to assemble it, with all the small pieces, and will be even more difficult if you have large hands. My nails were destroyed having to bend all the little metal pieces into place. My final verdict: if you're a die-hard Halo fan you might as well go the full mile and get the really expensive version, because this one really isn't worth the extra thirty dollars.

I bought it as a Christmas gift for my husband and he loves it. He has been playing Halo since it was on his pc. And has all of them from the PC to x box 360 to x box. One he plays online but. Also likes to play the campaigns. My husband and our youngest son play together. They start off on easy and work their way up the levels.
