After getting this product don't understand how it is not a standard feature in a high end TV. I was pleased with my Samsung 82 inch TV, my only complaint was the light in the border of the screen, something inherent of the technology, and decided to try this backlight, and it did work like a charm! The TV watching experience is much better and the change in contrast makes unnoticeable the light of the screen. Would highly recommend to any TV enthusiast, installation was very easy, did it without removing the TV from the wall, and the power comes from the USB port of the TV, so turns on and off with the TV. Great product!

It was very easy to install. I was able to do it myself while the TV was still on the wall. I sleep with the TV on, but since I added the Halo light and set it to red, I seem to sleep better. The hubby finds that hard to beleive & thinks it’s kind of a stupid thing, but I Love it! I wish there was an option for it to go off & on automatically when the tv turned off or on a timer.

Forgot to leave a review but this is easy to install and looks great! Lost the remote for a few months and it was stuck on a color I didn’t want but finally found it. didn’t realize how much I would need that.

I totally thought this was going to be a gimmick and something I would only use while listening to music on my TV. I use it all the time because I like watching TV in the dark and the HALO formed around the TV is a great contrast and keeps you focused on the screen. It turns on and off with the power of the TV and is plugged in via USB so it doesn’t require a dedicated outlet which is a plus. It took me about 10-15 minutes to determine which set up I wanted on the back of my TV and get it installed and glowing. Love it!

Super easy to install! I installed this to a 65” tv mounted to the wall. Works well for eye strain and just gives a cool ambiance to the room.

Great pickup to change the mood when you’re watching tv. The backlights make the colors on the actual tv pop out more to make your tv watching experience better.

I found this to be relatively easy to install with good directions provided. Read all directions first, do clean the surface so that it will adhere well. This worked for our 65” TV perfectly. I placed it all around top and two sides about 3” away from edge. Beautiful colors, just enough color and isn’t over the top. Multiple colors including white. I love the purple.

I'd read about the bias lighting on a techie site, but decided not to do it due to the price. But when I saw a daily deal that had the Halo at almost 1/2 price, I jumped on it. It's very easy to apply. I recommend not immediately sticking it to the TV - start with Scotch taping it, then watch TV or a movie to make sure you like the effect and the placement. Once you've decided where to apply it, just peel off the backing and stick it. Corners are a little awkward because the tape is stiff, but they provide two options to choose from. I really like the colored bias because you can choose from about 6 colors, including white. You can also change the brightness, which is a great feature. I've only had it on my TV for a few days, so I can't comment on the durability or longevity, but it looks great and it does enhance the TV experience. Note: I applied it to a 65" TV and had plenty of tape.

Bought this item a month or go to add some nice LED light around new, 65 inch LED TV and it works great! Piece of cake to stick around top and left and right sides of back of TV. Plugs right into one of the USB ports on the TV. Comes with remote to change colors. Really nice thing about it is it only comes on when you turn the TV on and stays on for a few minutes after TV is off. Definitely recommend this.

These LED lights are a great and relatively inexpensive way to make your TV setup look a lot more professional. However, make sure that ALL lights are off and curtains shut for best effect. A lot of other reviews mention issues with the adhesive, but with a quick cleaning to get rid of dust, I have had no issues at all having the lights stick to my TV. I did have an issue ~10 days after installation, which another user seemed to have. While watching TV with the strip off, they suddenly turned themselves on and were constantly flashing through red, then green, then blue colors, and were unresponsive to the remote. The only way to turn it off was by unplugging. I called their customer support and had to leave a message, but was followed up with the next day by the owner of the company. He simply asked for a picture of the box and my address, and said that he would ship a new one to me. That was great, but it turned out that the company is actually based out of the city I live in, so he came all the way to where I live to hand-deliver a new one for me. Hopefully this one works longer, but if not, I have full confidence that I would again receive excellent and quick service!

We purchased these for both 60" flatscreen TVs. Plenty of lights, easy stick on tape. Watching with low ambient light allows this product to shine. I was a skeptic, but they do lower eye strain and enhance viewing. Bought on a DOD, and would purchase again.

i must start out by saying that i wasn't really sure about using this in my home theater setup. i never really saw a need for such a thing. the installer of my new television recommened this lighting from best buy and said since it was on sale for $20 bucks i should give it a try. well let me tell you what a difference this has made. not only does it enhance the picture it gives the room a nice look also. this lenght was perfect for my 75 inch tv.

The strip has a nice brightness to it. The strip’s work with other strip’s, and can be controlled with one remote. They can be removed easily, and re-applied several times, as I have done that already.

The color range is decent, brightness is decent as well. It seems to be missing white though, which is odd since most other “color” light strips have a white option...it’s a great starting point for bias lighting for those unsure if they’ll like it. My Sony TV provinces power over USB, even when the TV is in “sleep” mode, which causes the lights to flash occasionally. I ended up using a USB cable extension and plugging it into an outlet instead.

It’s easy enough to install and comes with enough light for my 64” TV and a little more. Best if the wall behind the TV is white or light colored

it looks cool at night or in a dark room and comes with a little remote to change colors it is powered by a usb port on the tv so when you turn the tv on or off the led lights turn on with it. i only rated it 3 stars because ive seen cheaper LED strips for about $9, theres just not enough to justify spending another 40 for something thats really not that amazing and similar products can be found for half the price or less.

This is an easy way to make your room more inviting and has a big wow factor for an easy to install product. Not too expensive either, especially if you can get it on sale.

I had been wanting to buy these lights for some time now. I kept buying the Insignia brand whenever they would be on special, and finally got these on Deal of the Day real cheap. They are pretty cool the remote lets you change the color, intensity and even change from one color to another. The only thing I really didn't like is that the highest brightness is real dim. When you compare them to the Insignia brand, Insignia is a lot brighter than these lights. The nice thing is they come with everything you need to set them up right away. In the future I am going to stick to the Insignia brand as they are brighter.

It is a good product, definitely improved the contrast, now the colors are so vivid and bright even the dark areas. I have a 65" wall mounted TV, the length is a little short so it doesn't go all the way around. But all in all for the price I paid am a happy customer!

Bought these for my 55inch. Don’t go quietly around it, maybe about 8-10 inches short on the bottom but work pretty good.
