As an avid Halo fan, this game has totally rejuvenated the franchise. In my last opinion, the last great halo is halo 3. Halo four and five deviated from what made Halo great and the online wasn’t enjoyable. This game seems to bring together the Halo campaigns, and created a thoroughly enjoyable online experience. Definitely has lost more hours than I’d like to playing this game, with many more on its way.

Great game. I have not been a huge Halo fan overall due to the stale formula over the years. Moving to an open world added a whole new level of depth that this series will greatly benefit from in future years. Fun campaign, and quite challenging surprisingly. This is a game you will play multiple times guaranteed. Oh yeah...the multiplayer is pretty tight. Much better then Battlefield.

Halo Infinite is a big improvement over the previous installment 343 released. Again, if you just want to play multiplayer, you do not need to buy this as it is free to download. Adding the open world factor to the campaign was a fun and refreshing addition. The only issue is currently you cannot replay missions. You have to start an entirely new game. Im sure it will be patched in the future though.

Great graphics, fun shooter and easy gameplay. After so many years waiting, Halo Infinite does not disappoint. Balance of gameplay during the campaign is spot on.
Funny moment occurrences happy throughout and the game is polished. The developers did a fantastic job. I have not played in the multi-player yet so i cant say if it is balanced or not.
Overall I am enjoying this new Halo!

Was able to pick this up for $15 during a Best Buy sale and I have to say at that price point the game is well worth it. I have a ton of fun with the multiplayer and looking forward to completing the campaign. Definitely recommend on a sale!

The long-awaited next game in the vaunted Halo Series is just about everything you could want, though, with some caveats. The game, for the most part, looks great, though there are some unfinished or hazy renders in the background likely due to rushing to make a release date. However, this is still the best story and best game that 343 has contributed to the Halo series. The grapnel works for Batman, so of course it would work for Master Chief. And we FINALLY can recharge the energy sword, one of the most long-awaited tweaks for Halo fans.

While perhaps not as grand as its title suggests, Halo Infinite successfully takes the series back to its roots while adding a sprinkle of new features to make it still feel relevant. As for the gameplay, the gunplay feels right...and the addition of the grappling hook is a fun way to traverse the landscape and take out foes. The main campaign is sizable, this time taking place in an open world format. It's not as big as Grand Theft Auto or Ghost Recon games as of late, but it serves as a fun distraction between the main campaign missions (it'll likely take you around 30 hours to complete everything solo). Oh, and you'll be happy to hear that you play as Master Chief for the duration of the journey. Unfortunately, the story is lacking as it mostly involves flashbacks to Cortana's rampancy and doesn't feel like it accomplishes much. I don't care about multiplayer deathmatch, but for those concerned I know there's at least 10 maps currently available. Halo Infinite is definitely worth the ride for first-person shooter veterans and newbies alike. Despite a few hiccups in the story department, I'd say this installment is further proof that Halo is indeed safe in the hands of 343 Industries.

I mean what do I really have to say about halo. It’s the best franchise that Xbox has had since the original Xbox and halo infinite still keeps Xbox going. Great looking game with a good story. It also doesn’t hurt that it’s on sale at a great price!

A great amazing game that reminds me of tye halos specifically a combination of Halo 3 and 1 . The multiplayer is good maybe get a bit dry at times but still very good. And the campaign is amazing very fun and lots to do as well as a huge map to explore and theres many objectives to do as well
Easter eggs to find just like the old Halos.

The Halo series has been my favorite through the years. This game mixes up the formula, but in the best possible way, I enjoyed the first foray into an open world format. The multiplayer gripes aren't really an issue for me, though I understand them. I buy the games primarily for the campaign and I enjoyed it.

Let me begin by confessing that I do not like open-world games. Halo Infinite is excellent. Playing Halo Infinite reminded me of playing the second level of the original Halo; titled simply Halo. The level was sprawling but not open-world and centered on rescuing marines that had crash landed on the ring with whatever approach you wanted.
Halo Infinite has taken much of what makes open-world games fun like being able to explore and choose objectives and glues it all to the combat sandbox of the original Halo with the addition of incrediblly satisfying Grapple Shot for even more fun movement. Your objectives are familiar to other open-world games like climbing towers, defeating special enemies, or capturing bases, but the moment to moment action is laid out in a way that feels much more intentional or directed.

Great game. Not the best Halo game but still fun to play. The campaign is pretty engaging to explore while the multiplayer is free for all. I was pretty surprised I still got the steelbook and the skin DLC a year after release.

This game is my personal Game of the Year! The campaign is an absolute blast to play with so many hidden collectibles to find throughout the journey. Not only that, the multiplayer (gameplay wise) is the best this franchise has seen since Halo 3.
My only criticism with this game, however, is that the online store is ridiculous. Like seriously, $20 for one armor pack and a simple color? Insane.
Still, great game!
