This sequel did a great job of improving on where Halo Wars 1 started. The story is interesting and the gameplay improvements make it a lot of fun as well.

No matter which mode you play, you'll enjoy the rich story, challenging-but-not-overly difficult gameplay, and beautiful graphics. A wonderful intro to "top-down" strategy games.

Loving this game more than the first. The multiplayer is improved and feels more balanced. The new blitz mode is a lot of fun and is a great option for a quick match.

Good game in single player. Limited internet with Hugesnet so on line is not possible for me but that is were it would be awsome. Friends play on line and love it!

If you like real time strategy games, this is the one. Very fun, and challenging campaign as well as many other game modes and it's even co op also.

Halo wars 2 definitely improves where the 1st one left off. Overall the game looks a lot better and it has a good campaign with a great story line.

My friends and I still played the first one until this came out. Some fun new additions and challenging single player, but multi player is still the best.

I love this series and halo wars 2 improves on what the first one couldn’t do and they really made this game work well considering it’s an RTS on a console such a rarity.

THe game is good, but it would be nice if it had more maps for skirmishes. The campaign is fun as well

This game plays faster than the first game, but made improvements. Blitz mode is a lot of fun and you collect cards that increase the level of your troops. Campaign is pretty short and can be beat in a few hours. Online multiplayer is great against people, but the AI is pretty tough and relentless. Seems like the AI difficulty needs to be updated slightly. I'd recommend this game if you love RTS's or even a casual player.

bought this as gift for someone who is big rts fan, and fan of part 1, so they loved it.

I'm about halfway through the SP campaign at the time of this writing, and it's definitely been a fun ride. The mechanics are pretty intuitive once you've learned them (find the tutorials!), and while the gameplay isn't StarCraft-level complex, there is certainly enough of a meta game to be played to have the most effective group of units at any given time that keeps it fun. Definitely worth checking out.

If you enjoyed the first game you will like this. If you didn't play the first one know what you are getting yourself into. It's a real time strategy game on console so it's just about as good as that sounds. The controls work fine and everything is good as far as I can tell but the game is mediocre at best.

Halo wars is one of my favorite games to play on Xbox 360 EVER!!! When I heard they were coming out with a second I nearly cried, did it take them forever to get it out, yeah, is it worth it, HECK YES!!! This delivers that nostalgic halo wars feel with an added game mode that keeps you on the offensive, definitely worth a buy if you like fast paced strategy games.
