When talking about 80’s vietnam war films we usually remember Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, Born on the Fourth of July; but this one is often over looked even though it showcases a major battle of the war. Admittedly its not as well written as the former mentioned films but its far from a bad flick and shouldnt be forgotten(it has some wonderful acting and direction and some upcoming actors of the time that are well known now)

Saw this movie while I was serving in he Army. It's a must see for all those who like spot on film making!

This movie is a war classic. Gritty and engaging that draws you in to what the movie was about.

This is a Great War movie. Their is a lot of action and a great story line.

I recently purchased Hamburger Hill on Blu Ray & I DO NOT have any regrets at all!! The graphics are so clear there are so many twists and turns to this highly action packed movie... I'm going to recommend this to family & friends for sure... The only other thing that would've made this better is "UPGRADE & SAVE" so that I would've save an additional $5 on this purchase IF/WHEN BestBuy brings "UPGRADE & SAVE"... back soon...

Hamburger Hill is a great movie. The picture on the blu-ray is outstanding. There is a slight problem with the sound. The music is a little louder than the dialog and sound effects. Its not real bad but it is worth noting. The dialog and sound effects can be clearly heard you just have to up the volume maybe slightly more than you usually do.

Hamburger Hill is a very competent entry in the canon of Vietnam War films. It doesn't reach the highs of your Platoons and Apocalypse Nows, but it paints an equally bleak picture of what the war was like and contains some great performances by actors who, at the time, had little to no star power.

Hamburger Hill tells it the way it really was. It's a raw, gritty and totally unrelenting dramatic depiction of one of the fiercest battles of America's bloodiest war.

A powerful and gripping Vietnam film with superb acting and directing. This film isn’t as popular as some other Vietnam films but it’s a great one and looks good on Blu-ray

This was one of the best Vietnam war movies ever made. Was overshadowed by Platoon and Full Metal Jacket at the time of its release but some great performances by Dylan McDermott and Cortney B Vance. Was very surprised at the great picture quality on the blu-ray.

Generally ignored because released within months after Platoon and Full Metal Jacket. Very realistic movie of one of the key battles of Vietnam War and to friends of mine who served the better of the three.

Seem it when it came out in theaters. It's realistic and people will have an understanding on what it was like during that time. I have great respect for everyone who fought for this great country of ours.

I've started watching war movies that have or are based on actual facts. Very interesting to hear and see history as it happened. Great price too!

This an older but very classic movie! It entertaining until the end as these soldiers fight to take over a Hill, which once they conquered it they named it Hamburger Hill.

One of those great war films (or is it Anti-war film?) that became so popular in the 80's. A lot of great actors and performances in this film. The Blu-ray is top-notch. Recommended.

While it didn't receive all the press as other movies if that genre, "Hamburger Hill" is extremely underrated and a classic movie inspired by real events
