I picked this up because a lot of my friends had bern raving about how amazing it was, and it did NOT disappoint. I've listened through the entire CD at least 3 times in the last month, not to mention countless replays of single songs. Hamilton is absolutely incredible.The case is a little weak like most plastic CD cases but the items themelves (Full lyric booklets!) are great. Worth the price.

For those who love a Broadway musical with catchy lyrics, a history lesson through drama, or just interested in a great story give this a try!

A great way to listen to great music and learn history!

First I have to say, I can appreciate a good musical, but I would in no way call myself a Musical fan. As far as hip hop I can take it or leave it. With that being said, this two disk cd takes you on quite a ride. Fast paced, clear, original, informative historic and truly going to revolutionize broadway. I have never heard of a hip hop Broadway musical, and this was utterly mesmerizing. I've yet to introduce it to any one who hasn't liked it. Weather a hip hop fan or musical fan or not. I was so amazed I spent nearly 600.00 on 2 tickets to next septembers performance. Lol. Pick this cd up, you will not regret a single cent paid.

Lin-Manuel Miranda has proven himself as a master craftsman of everything that goes into musical production. A deft lyricist and an exquisite composer, this story of one of America's founding fathers is like history class as if it were an underground basement show. Fans of hip-hop and Broadway alike will revel in the Sorkin-eat-your-heart-out pace of this wonderfully compelling piece of entertainment.

Hamilton successfully integrates a modern sound into a traditional Broadway setting. The actual show tickets are impossible to get so we'll have to settle for the CD for now. My daughter and her friends are huge fans and I'm not surprised. Give it a try if you want to hear a fresh approach to the stage musical.

Who hasn't heard about Hamilton by now?! Great cast album that you can listen to over and over again. I am not a big fan of rap but the lyrics and music for this are so expertly done that you will soon find yourself a fan! Now if I could only get tickets to see the show on Broadway....

I had only heard a little under half of the 46 track cast recording before I knew I had to own it. I love it so much and can't stop listening. Every time I listen i pick up on something new. I have recommended it to all of my friends and have them hooked as well. Definitely worth it!

Find a way to see this on Broadway if you can; then buy the soundtrack CD from Best Buy rather than at the show where it will cost twice as much!!!

At the beginning you will have some clear favorite songs but after a complete hearing of this obc album you will fall in love with all the songs

Got this for my granddaughter - couldn’t find it at first but a salesmen took time to locate it - Granddaughter was super excited when she opened it up on Christmas day !

The soundtrack for Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical, "Hamilton", is a remarkable sound recording of a must-see Broadway show. The music spans contemporary ballads to hip-hop to rock. Enjoy.

In anticipation of seeing the musical in Chicago, I thought the music from show is wonderful and very entertaining. I would strongly suggest getting this for your listening pleasure.

The history of our Founding Fathers, told primarily in hip-hop and rap. The show itself was brilliant, but it's great to have the whole recording, which includes a libretto.

It's been a long time since I've wanted to purchase a Broadway musical. The last being the original production of "Annie." I'm very pleased with this CD!

No wonder everyone talks about this musical. The way the story is told, along with the great voices and music styles used, make it an a success.

This is an amazing cast album. I have not yet seen the show, but you can feel the emotion and the characters through the soundtrack. I cannot stop listening!

Wonderful 2 CD set of the groundbreaking Broadway musical. Includes a mini program booklet with all the lyrics (and which character sings them). Must buy!!

After seeing the play I couldn’t wait to purchase the CD so I could listen to all the music. It is a great CD with good quality sound.

This is a great soundtrack and as a result of listening to it I am now interested in seeing the live performance of the production.
