After our Krups coffee/espresso maker of 23 years finally pooped out, we started to use a Mr. Coffee that we had received as a promotional gift. It was a nice programmable coffee maker with most of the bells and whistles, however, it died after only a year. I did a great deal of research and checked many reviews on Amazon, Best Buy, etc. and was amazed when I read the reviews of this Hamilton Beach. All 13 reviews were 5 stars. We decided to order the coffee maker and were thrilled that it was actually on sale. The maker is very stylish and incredibly easy to use. It has little swivel feet on the bottom to make turning it easy when I want to use the refill water container at the back. The coffee basket is so easy to use. The programming feature is a piece of cake to use and I love that I can set the warming temperature, since I do like hot coffee. There is only one teeny tiny thing that would make it better and that is a beep to let me know when the coffee is ready and when the coffee maker is turning off after 2 hours. The previous reviews also mentioned this as a very minor thing and it definitely does not detract from the coffee maker being marvelous. For a reasonably priced coffee maker with almost 100% of the necessary bells and whistles I think this Hamilton Beach is the ticket. If I had paid twice as much I would still be happy.

We've been using a Bunn pot for about 10 years. Our last one died fast doer decided to try this one out. The coffee takes a bit longer about 10 minutes for 12 cups, but the coffee is very good. Not as bitter as the Bunn. I like the way the tank comes off to fill and the pot pours really good, no drops or spills.

This coffee maker is a good looking unit, makes fabulous, hot coffee, and is easy to use. The pot doesn't drip, like my old coffee maker, and the burner keeps it very hot. (you can program the temperature). I love the way it looks and it just makes great coffee!

Bought this for my mother-in-law and she's enjoying it so far. They needed a pot that brewed a hot cup of coffee (they felt their old pot didn't brew the coffee hot enough) with a good size carafe. This fit the bill and the removable reservoir is a big plus. I wish my coffee maker at home came with that function.

I purchased this product because my old coffee maker of 5 years stopped working. This product was easy to set up, easy to use, and makes a good cup of coffee. I have only had it for a month now so I can not really speak to it's durability. So for it is working great. The only negative I have so far is that the automatic shut off can only be set to a maximum of 2 hours. My old coffee maker could be set to 4 hours which was more my pace.

I have been looking for a reasonably priced coffee maker with a removable water reservoir and good reviews for a long time. I was pleased to find this coffee maker at Best Buy online with free shipping which was a bonus! This maker has an adjustment to have your coffee really hot, to mildly hot. I love really hot coffee which works perfect for me. I would recommend to anyone.

We were looking for a coffee maker that was simple to operate and make a good cup of coffee. .I really like it and works like the instruction say it should. The only thing I dislike is I can not remove the hinged lid for the pot for washing, Maybe I as doing something wrong , Can anyone help me?

This is a great value coffee pot for under $50. Unit is actually 4.5 stars! Have only owned it a couple months. Small footprint, easy to use, and brews hot enough coffee. The water reservoir comes off the coffeemaker to fill from the faucet or frig.

This coffee maker was easy to program for my 6.30 am coffee and it works great. Easy to use and keep clean. A few starter filters would have been useful.

Bought this after reviewing online. This one got a lot of good reviews. I like the swing out, removable basket, the removable water chamber is great (love that I am able to take off and fill and the fact I am able to keep it clean from gunk and build up). Love all the features, like 1-4 cup option, the bold brew, and keep warm. Would definitely recommend this not only for function but I really like its looks.(matches my appliances and fits perfectly on my counter). Like the wheels. Not at all disappointed. Great buy.

Over this coffee maker works well and has some great features, but also has its shortcomings. Things I like; The wheels on the bottom that make it easy to move, the small footprint, the different temp settings for the hot plate and the idea of the swing out door for the coffee grounds. The removable water tank is also a good idea, but I don' use it (I run my water through a Brita pitcher first so its not a big deal to pour directly into the coffee maker). Things I dislike: 1.The blue display is fine during the day but at night is too bright and hurts my eyes and the off-axis contrast is terrible. 2. The carafe has a lip on the inside that makes it almost impossible to completely empty. I assume this is to keep any stray grounds from pouring into your cup but it makes cleaning it out difficult because you can never get it completely dry. 3. The swing out door will likely not last. I have had this coffee maker for about a month and the the door is already misaligned.

Great coffee maker! It's easy to program and easy to pour without spilling! Very nice, compact design. The removable tank on the back is a nice feature and eliminates spillage. Coffee tastes great!

This is the best coffee maker I ever owned. It has a removable water tank that gives you the option to remove it if you want for cleaning. It is also designed so you don't have to lift the top to fill with coffee and filter. The front swings out to change the filter and fill with coffee. It was designed with the consumer in mind.

Good coffee pot. Coffee stays hot, not warm. Easy water despensor.

I bought this coffeemaker after reading the extensive reviews posted for it. I like it but I thought I would love it based on what I read. It brews a good cup of coffee and I like the brew strength and warming options. The lid to the pot is a not as easy to take on and off compared to my old coffeemaker (very basic one). Otherwise, it is easy to clean. Regarding storage, the cord doesn't fit well into the rear storage spot. Rather than mess with it every time, I have just cinched the cord with a twist tie to keep it neat. It is also a bit taller so I've had to rework where I store it (my fault - should have rechecked the dimensions of this unit). Overall, I like it and am pretty happy with it. I think some of the prior reviews were a bit too rosy.

This item was highly rated and lives up to it. Looks great, and I like the swing out basket the most. The water tank is a little awkward to get at. I bought this mainly because with the swing out basket you didn't have to pull it out from under the cabinets to fill with coffee, but I find you have to pull it away from the wall anyway to comfortably get at the water tank. So this placement defeats the purpose of the swing out basket. Still, this is a great coffee maker. The coffee tastes good as with most drip coffee makers. Worth the money..
