I love this grill! So far I have been grilling burgers and salmon patties, and it works great! Going to use it for grilled chicken and hot dogs as well! It's so convenient and simple to use! Clean up only takes a few minutes, very easy to clean. Just set a damp paper towel on it and let it steam for a little, then the residue wipes right off clean! I just get another paper towel, wet it with a little dish liquid, and easy cleaning! Satisfied with my purchase! Drains a lot of grease and fat too!

1. This is a good sized indoor electric grill with a temperature control option (not all grills have). 2.There is a separate power button to turn on and off the grill, temperature setting buttons to set the temperature (max temp 500F) and seer option for steaks. 3. I have also used it as a Panini press too to make my sandwiches grilled. 4. Good for skewered veggies and meat without mess. 5. The oil collecting bin (extra attachment) collects all the excessive fat without making a mess. 6. Easy to clean and handle. Very satisfied with the purchase! Now I can grill my food items more often and quick without any hassle.

Compared to my previous Grills, the Hamilton Beach Steak Lover's Grill is HEAVEN! I love that I can easily actually set the grill to the internal temperature I want the meat to reach!!! I can also set the grill to first sear the meat and then return reset itself to the internal meat temperature I've requested! I've grilled filet mignon and hamburgers and both meats grilled perfectly as did asparagus. This evening I'm moving up to lobster and shrimp! Frankly, I didn't believe the cleanup method the manufacturer recommended would work, but a wet paper towel steaming in the closed grill accompanied by a quick wipe down really does the trick! This Grill does exactly what you need it to do, first time - every time -- namely cook expensive and inexpensive foods PERFECTLY. Nor does it smoke up the entire house like the Cuisinart I replaced always did.

So easy to use and easy to clean! The non-stick grills last so much longer than the other grill we had. I love the fact that you can set the temperature. All-around the best grill I've owned out of 3 previous ones from other brands.

Cooks amazing steak! The sear feature is great. Don't go by the times on the instructions or you'll have a well done steak. I can cook a thick steak using the sear button in 3 minutes for medium rare. My reason for 4 stars is the plates aren't removable and it is a pain to clean. Makes a mess especially with hamburgers. I love it but sometimes I don't want to use it because it takes so long to clean it. If the plates were removable it would be a perfect machine!!

We needed a smaller grill and found this one. It does a great job of searing steaks. Haven’t tried it for other meats but are sure it will do better than our old George Foreman.

Best decision to buy this indoor grill. Easy to use and clean. To start with, my pork chops and burgers were delicious. It will be useful iin the winter when it snows and is hard to acess an outdoor grill. Enjoy grilled food anytime!

I was looking for a larger grill to replace my George Foreman one and this grill was it! So easy to use! Plus, you can cook more food on it other than steak, like bacon, chops, chicken and veggies! I love it!

I've used it a few times and it cooks well. I don't find that the fat really drips off so I've shimmed it up to increase the angle to aide in the dripping of fat. I've also had a tough time cleaning it for fear of damaging the non-stick coating, but that's probably me doing it wrong.

Got this for my son who is in college. Grills like a champ. Easy cleanup. He loves it! Perfect for a college apartment!

Ordered this as a cheaper alternative to Cuisinart Griddler.. however, it does not have a lay flat feature which reduces the amount of space available for grilling. Had to return it for this reason but have no doubt that it will function greatvfor all who do not want this feature.

Grill gets hot to sear meats. The high heat is essential for cleaning. Food will stick so use extra oil. The drip cup works great as the grill angle is made to drain. The size is for one meal at one time! Meat and vegetables same time or cook meat then cook vegetables! Hinges do not float so food at the rear get more grill contact than the front. Thin food to the rear! I guess you coukd season grill but not sure it woukd work for the taste of a seasoned grill!

5 stars because it performs as expected; it makes a perfect steak. Something which I, left to my own devices, am unable to do. But it is not perfect. To get it perfectly clean takes gently wiping with a soft, wet and soapy sponge or cloth, and a final clean water wipe/rinse. Not a lot of work, but not as easy as the booklet claims. Also I am dissapointed that the instruction booklet doesn't give more directions on cooking different foods. I'd like to make a panini-type sandwich, but had to find cook-time info online under other brands of countertop grills. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase.

What a great product for apartment living. Bought these as Christmas gifts for our two sons living in two different cities in apartments, whom were missing grilled meats, veggies, and sandwiches.

Works perfectly fine. Best buy if you are looking for something simple and indoor.
