It does its job well - that's the jist of it. We have it in our bathroom, where we also keep our baby's diaper pail. And no matter how many odorizers we used for the pail itself, on some days the smell was immediately apparent on entering. Since, we have had this plugged in, there have been 0 instances of us noticing any weird smell at all. Initially, the odorizer(optional comes in the package) itself has pretty strong scent, but you get used to it. Some people have complained about the noise in the reviews, and it does sound like a small fan/exhaust running, but nothing egregious. A couple of points to note - -> this thing is huge, so please measure the area you are going to plug this in. The height is in the specs, I did not check and was lucky that it fits for me. My outlet is just above the washbasin countertop, and this is grazing that, just about fit in. This is sturdy enough that I was also able to also plug it in upside down, just to try if it will work, in case my space was really that small. -> It also has a little indicator that is supposed to show you how much filter life is left. It seems to be chugging along at a fair pace, I am not even a month in and it shows as if half of the filter life has been consumed. This indicator though is completely independent from the filter, and so is a best guess in my opinion. And the manual does say that the filter is supposed to last you 3 months. However, they do not mention the hrs of day you have it on. This is something I will keep an eye on in the future.

I love my new purchase. When you open the door the smell light up the room. It smells so good. Some people complain about the noise but I have mine in the living room and does not bother me at all.

I have owned one of these air purifiers for 10 years and I swear my bathroom has minimal odor after 3 boys use it daily. I bought another one to put in a second bathroom and it works great!

This little air cleaner really works to remove odor and other unwanted contaminates from the breathing air. My only criticism is it's moderately noisy.

The mount is larger than the picture. I have it in my bathroom but will not stay pulled in due to weight. It sticks out about the height of a flat tissue box. My outlet is by the sink, so can barely put others items on counter. It is difficult but you can use the upper outlet while it is plugged into the lower outlet. I like the smell and could tell a difference. But I also don’t want it falling into a sink of water.

This is great for small rooms such as the bathroom. It will keep the air in room fresh and it will smell even fresher with the air freshener. I love it!

I bought one for my room. Worked amazing had to go back for more. Great for pet smells and kitchens smells. Filter does needs to be replaced now ( about 3 months).

This is a handy compact unit for small spaces, however, I ended up returning mine not because it didn't work, but rather because it has a nightlight that you can't turn off. If you don't mind the light, then it's a great product. But, they need to have an on-off switch to shut the light of for customers like me.

It does what is says. Good for small areas. The night light and scent cartridge are a nice bonus.

I love this little thing! It does a lot for my room. I wish it had different sent options.

This did eliminate the Odor in the air. But it didn’t last long. The filter lasted a couple of weeks.

I bought hamilton beach truair plug-mount because I smoke and my apartment smell bad. This item works and I recommend it.

FOR SUCH A SMALL DEVICE I WASNT EXPECTING MUCH. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED WITH THE RESTULTS. THIS SMALL PURIFIER KEEPS THE AREA WHERE MY DOG SLEEPS NICE AND FRESH. AMAZING PRODUCT. WELL WORTH IT.

A little loud for a little purifier, and the scent doesn't last long.

I think it works, I noticed a bit of improvement in air quality. Pretty quiet.

I like because you have two options to use. It also works as a night like when used then.
