This movie was inspiring, uplifting and motivating. Learn a lot more about Harriet Tubman life I didn't know before. No matter how hard your visions or dreams may seem, trust in God and with perseverance and hard work you can do anything.

This was really a terrific movie about the harrowing journey and life of Harriet Tubman an American Hero . Cynthia erivo did an amazing job portraying Ms. Tubman's life. She also co-wrote and performed the beautiful theme song Stand Up.

Harriet is a true story about a black slave who escaped slavery in MD, fled to Pennsylvania and went back to her former "home" to take other slaves back to PA and freedom including her parents. It is a powerful movie and well done. I gave it 4 stars because I am sure that the real Harriet faced many more hardships while saving the lives of so many black slaves than was portrayed in the movie. It is a good part of history. "Black Lives DO Matter".

I give this movie a 10 out of 10 rating. There were numerous Academy level performances. Prior to purchase, I had seen this movie 2 times. It is a keeper. The portray of history depicted in this movie needs to be learned by all.

Brilliantly cast and brilliantly shot. Wonderful history lesson for us all about a fearless and courageous woman who was pivotal in changing minds! Great movie and so happy Best Buy always has great pricing and vast selections.

Put this one on the top of your list of must sees. Definitely a movie that will open your eyes. A slight different spend on history never hurt a good story of facts. Loved it from start to finish. A classic for sure.

I've enjoyed the movie. It was made simply and powerful. I like the fact that it didn't show slave whipping but it let you know that it did happen. Love the determination of Harriet Tubman. Most definitely recommend.

The movie was well directed. My wife and I were engaged the entire time of the movie. This is another example of history being shown in the big screen. It is heart breaking to see what African Americans went through. The actors put their heart into the scenes and make the audience empathetic through the journey. We have a long way to go to be equal, this is another lesson that needs to be told, another legacy that needs to live on.

This movie gives you a great view into the life of Harriet Tubman. I thought I knew her story but I was wrong. You will feel every emotion watching this and in the end you’ll be rewarded with a great story.

This is a great movie and a beautiful story. A must have for movie aficionado. The Soundtrack is great as well sang by the own main artist of the movie. A must have I would say.

The one problem in the movie, there’s a few characters that weren’t real people. The African American Slave catcher wasn’t a real person. Hollywood is trying to rewrite African American History

Greatest movie ever. Has the ring of truth. Anyone who has an interest in watching movies should definitely see this one. The discs are fine, in excellent condition.

Directed perfectly and should be taught and shown in all schools for history purposes. I would recommend this movie to anyone that is willing to learn about this country’s dark hidden past.

This film should have received Best Picture, Director, Actress, and screenplay. Harriet's Faith in God show where her inner strength came from to continue to boldly lead slaves to freedom.

In spite of everything that happened to deter her dream she would not be denied. Beautiful storyline in spite of the subject. She is one of my sheroes. Good timing with black history month.

I was proud to see a movie about a woman wanting her freedom and her willingness to free other people at the risk of loosing her life. This was a great Movie to see for all persons.
