The noticeable benefits of HDR in Deathly Hallows: Part 1 appear in its darkest sequences, courtesy of improved contrast and highlights. A good example occurs later in the film, when Harry dives beneath the icy surface of a frozen pond to retrieve the Sword of Gryffindor. The Horcrux around Harry's neck hinders his effort, pulling him back, and Harry's struggles in the dark water are clearer, and the movements of the Horcrux necklace are more readily visible, with the benefits of HDR.

First of all, if you haven't seen all the Harry Potter movies, you need to. It's that simple. As far as this edition, it's great because it has the 2nd disc of bonus content. There is a series "making of" short films that are spread across all 8 of the 2-disc special edition blu-rays that makes them the only choice for a fan!

When deathly hallows came out it was an incredible book, and an incredible film. It just got that much more amazing because the 4k presentation truly shows the colours, the light, the dark, and most amazing of all, the CGI looks flawless in 4k, that is how the film is meant to be seen and enjoyed.

For any Harry Potter fan, the complete Deathly Hallows is a must, especially if you have felt let down by franchises that get stale after the 2nd or 3rd film. This movie is a great cliffhanger for Deathly Hallows part 2, which I feel has one of the most satisfying movie endings in recent memory. See for yourself.

Replacing or upgrading movies can be expensive, especially when it's a series. Not at Best Buy! I was able to replace all of my Harry Potter films with Blue Rays at very affordable prices. The store maintained plenty of stock so I didn't have to get them all at once.

As an avid HP fan I can’t betin to tell you the difference in watching this is 4K! The colors are so vivid and beautiful I feel transported directly into that world. As for the movie, amazing (of course) and will of wizarding fantasy fun for all ages!

While many UHD adopters will spout on about the increased picture clarity, I find that the HDR colors on the disks is more the reason to upgrade. The brighter deeper colors and more clarity in the darker areas make it worth the upgrade for me.

Is part of my 4K upgrade plan this was one of the first 4K DVDs I bought to add to my collection. Being a huge Harry Potter fan it was inevitable that I would upgrade all the movies in the series. Well worth the expense and the visual effects were stunning.

Worth buying in 4k, no doubt about it! The thing that i hated about the previous versions would be that the dark was too dark. I couldn't see anything. The 4k corrects that, so you get to see the movie the way it was intended. Absolutely beautiful.

I owned them all on DVD but they have all been ruined. Have been slowly rebuilding my collection on bluray. This was a great movie cinematically but since all the action takes place later in the story it does drag a bit. Still it's worth owning.

Having seen and enjoyed the movie many times and enjoyed it, my review concerns the Blue Ray 4K quality and it is spectacular! The audio also especially on a high-end surround sound system with Dolby Atmos . Get one!

Knowing that this movie is moving towards the end of the adventures with HP and company made me feel sad. Just like my other purchases - I took advantage of the deal that cam along with these BluRays (price and the digital download).

I really enjoyed watching the first half of this DVD series the product itself came package safely so there was no damage to the DVD it was easy enough to get into and follow along with the instructions on screen

used to be not a fan of harry films but grown and respected it these films are great and i love it . i wish now they can make more of these films

I did not think I would like the Harry Potter Movies till I saw it on Blu-ray. Great movie, so I just had to have in 4K for my collection. Will buy all of the Harry Potter Movies when they come out in 4K.

The Harry Potter films are quite remarkable... I was a fan of the books before seeing their film counter parts, and these two final parts of book 7 truly are masterpieces of book-to-film adaptations!

I HAVE STARTED TO RE-PURCHASE ALL MY FAVORITE MOVIES WHEN THEY ARE AVAILABLE IN 4K - ULTRA HIGH DEFINITION! THE DIFFERENCE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! A MUST HAVE IN YOUR MOVIE COLLECTION.

Again, I bought this for a friend who had lost their dvd copies of the movies. This is the first part of a two part ending to the film series and it was a blast! Really great movie!
