I am a strictly OTA TV viewer. I was thrilled when the adaptor was released for the XBOX One so I could use some of the TV functionality of the system. The tuner is easy to set up and actually found more channels than the tuner in my Sony TV that is about 4 years old. The guide is great as well. There is one MAJOR shortfall however. In order to watch TV, you must have an internet connection AND be connected to XBOX Live. I discovered this after a few days of use when Live was down for about 5 hours. I was unable to watch TV! XBOX Live Gold is not necessary, so that's a plus. I would understand if the guide wouldn't work if there limited functionality due to no internet connection or Live outage but for the tuner to not work at all is unacceptable to me.

Used this with an indoor Leaf antenna and it's been working great. This tuner comes with a small antenna, but it's pretty basic and won't give you many channels. If you're using an Over The Air setup you probably have a better antenna anyway. Your antenna plugs into this adapter and it connects to the XBOX with USB. New updates for the XBOX make it easy to switch between channels and you get a full programming guide as well, along with pause/play of live TV. Either way, very happy with this tuner, haven't lost any reception from my previous setup and if Microsoft ever pushes the promised DVR update to the XBOX it makes for a pretty complete media/streaming box now.

Plugged this little bugger into my existing tv antenna in within a couple minutes I had live TV on my Xbox One. Xbox has some changes coming to help improve the DVR functionality that will pair well with this device, but for now I am able to rewind and pause live tv as well as convert my tv signal to a HDMI via my Xbox One, which makes my particular setup operate my smoother. I will say the 10 mile antenna didn't get many channels at all. I live outside of Phoenix, but even still, it wasn't enough to warrant it's use. I did however use my existing antenna and have had great success. I haven't tried the app that this comes with for Windows yet, but I do intend to eventually.

This is the best, I wanted to get a tv tuner for my tv and my friend suggested I get this for my xbox one. Set up was fast and with a little outside help from him I overlooked why I couldn't get the live tv mode working. That was fixed and there's about 30 or so channels and I can pause live tv and fast forward through commercials. The channels are listed on the tv and you can scroll through without turning the channel. It's great for someone who just wanted to watch some local tv like the news and the weather. We actually got the employee who helped us out in store to want one for himself as well because he thought it was for a 360. One other thing it comes with a code for free trail of DVR so that's something else as well. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to get away from buying cable tv.

This is a great plug and play interface for the Xbox 1, and it is very easy to hook up and navigate the user interface. The antenna that is included is all but worthless, unless you're < 5 miles from a tower and have no trees blocking the southern exposure. It works much better with the Leaf 30 or 50 digital antenna.

I bought this TV tuner since I had an antenna hooked up to my TV anyway. This tuner works great and anyone who has cut the cord like myself and owns an Xbox One should definitely get this. I recommend getting a coax splitter so that you can hook up your antenna to both your TV and Xbox One. Great product and great way to save some $$$ from cable.

If you want a true all in one entertainment console, the Hauppauge - Digital USB TV Tuner for Xbox One , is the one adapter to get. It makes your XBOX One TV ready. Easy plug and play installation and configuration of channels, including DVR and TV guide, plus a last channel back option. I have mine connected to an antenna for local channels and the reception has actually improved. So far, not a single issue has surfaced from the adapter. I will highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take their XBOX One to the next level of entertainment.

This product works just as described. Pause live TV, great TV guide and the user interface is great on the xbox. I bought mostly to look forward to the DVR capabilities that are supposed to be introduced into the XBOX one system sometime this year (2016). Easy to setup, easy to use... well worth the money.

It is very nice, but I wouldnt buy it again for $59.99. The concept intrigued me, and it is very nice addition to the Xbox One. However, its not blow you away product. It's very nice, and I havent had a chance to explore all of the capabilities. It is a great replacement for a converter box. It has apps on it, most of them pay apps. The television picture quality is awesome, but you have to upgrade the antenna. I would recommend the product but at $39.99 or less.

I watched a video of this product and said this looks like a cool thing to buy. When I received it. I had some trouble figuring out how to use it but then learned and then it was a matter of the reception of all my channels so I did not use the free antenna and used my own. I had to use my cable wire in another room to get the best reception where the antenna is.I have yet to do the download onto a computer because I do not know if it is a one time thing and I want to buy a new computer to record shows. Also it is good to pause live t.v. but also it is about a second or 2 delay compared to an actual live feed. I experimented with that. I do like the guide showing me many hours in advance even a full day or more of shows that will be on.

This is the link I needed to connect my mohu leaf to my xbox one to get over the air TV. I love that now my xbox can download channel information and display it on the Oneguide so I can know what's on TV. I love the product but I'm sad I needed to get it in the first place. I wish there was a way to just plug the antenna directly into the Xbox. But this definitely does the trick!

Nice tuner for what I needed. Will work with a PC, in my case Windows 10. Works nicely with an indoor antenna and was easy to setup.

Easy to install. Great picture. Would prefer it if I could enter more than one zipcode at a time. Some channels don't populate the guide because they aren't in the same region.

Easy to use. The included antenna isn't very useful, had to purchase another antenna.

I use my xbox One as my media hub and this completes it. Works great and easy to set up. Could be a but cheaper but. I think its well worth it.

Easy to plug in and set up. The included antenna didn't find any channels for me but that's okay since I already have one. I bought this so I can use XB1 to control tv and also for the one guide and the ability to pause live tv. To me those features are worth it. I think the manufacturer should leave out the antenna and lower the price.

I needed to pick this up to get our antenna TV as the new Vizio's do not have a coaxial hookup. This was very simple to setup and now my over the air TV comes through my Xbox which is a plus. Just seems a little pricey for what you get which is why I docked a star.

I had my xbox for a short time before I realized I really wanted this. Because of my home theater setup, it's much easier than switching back to my TV for live channels. The product is made well and is reliable. It comes with a cheap antenna, but it gets the job done. I like that with this you can use Xbox to pause live Tv, skip back and forward. When I bought this, DVR recording of shows was supposed to be on the horizon. Now Xbox officially killed off that feature, so no recording of shows for you. Time shift is all you get, but better than just live from a TV only. You can't just plug any USB tuner into the Xbox for live TV, so you don't have much choice. Others may work, but it's a gamble. I think this would be about ten buck cheaper if you had more competition, but not excessively expensive. If this had a better antenna, was a bit cheaper and Xbox enabled true DVR, it'd be 5 stars all the way.

I bought this device since it is compatible with Xbox One and a regular PC. I don't have the console yet, but it works nicely with Windows 7 as a second tuner to a computer that already has a TV tuner. The package is barebones, only the device, antenna, and software. There is no remote. Too bad the software for Windows 10 is atrocious. That is why it's being used on a Win7 computer.

This tuner is not for everyone but if you want to supplement your cable TV or XBOX streaming apps with over-the air stations from your antenna, the Hauppauge tuner will do that. The Hauppauge tuner works as well as or better than my Samsung HDTV's built-in tuner. However keep in mind that the tuner can't fix antenna reception problems. In my setup I have a cable box connected to the XBOX One HDMI-in and I have the Hauppauge tuner connected to one of the XBOX USB ports. I'd give the Hauppauge 5 Stars except there area few occasional glitches. After scanning for channels I sometimes have to restart the XBOX in order to see the new channels picked up by the tuner. On other rare occasions a channel's picture will freeze (maybe due to poor antenna reception?). These are minor inconveniences and they may actually be problems with the XBOX software instead of the Hauppauge tuner. Note that this tuner will not make the XBOX One a DVR and it will not work with a PCs USB port. If you want to record over-the air programming on your PC, you should buy one of Hauppauge's WinTV USB or PCI tuners instead. All and all the Hauppauge tuner for XBOX One is a good product that does what it claims to do.
