This album is the best since So Jealous and might be it's equal. It has a different sound than the previous records, but I think that shows the growth of Tegan and Sara. This is the first album where all songs were co-written by the Canadian twins and the collaboration shows. So Jealous is one of my favorite records of all time, and Sainthood was almost equally addicting. This album is equal to both and may be even more addicting. Every track is great and there is no track that warrants a skip. Definitely worth checking out. PS- I own the CD and the vinyl. I recommend picking this up on vinyl if you have a turntable. Great album!

This cd is very good. Texan and Sara are very good singers.

If you are new to Tegan and Sara this album sounds different than previous albums but the deep lyrics are still there. If you like this one also listen to So Jealous and The Con. Standout tracks on Heartthrob are "Messed Up" and "Closer." Great band to see live.

All-in-all this was a great album. As always Tegan and Sara's lyrics are spot on. They always manage to invoke a very emotional response, in a good way!

I bought this CD because my car only ever plays CDs well and I liked "Love they say" and "Closer" so I thought why not. I absolutely love it and listen to it almost every time I get in the car.

Although it is different, it is still a wonderful album! If you do not like it the first time you will start liking it over time.

This is Tegan and Sarah at their very best, odd that its so poppy. Still if you love them you will love this.

I love this new album! It definitely has this 80's Pop feel to it that I think Tegan and Sara fans would enjoy. It's great!

Great album to turn up in your car and get lost in the lyrics. Different sound from past Tegan and Sara, but I still love it.

I bought this on a whim, because I had seen a video on early one morning. Turns out to be a really good "different" sounding group. I like the fluidity of the music, meaning you can go from one track to the next without changing the volume, and their pitch and range are calming to me. i was pleasantly surprised by this cd.
