This movie was a must see in 1995 & it still hits all the marks that a movie must hit to be considered a classic!

Classic. Pacino. DeNiro. Kilmer. Hayesbert. Loved It.

I've seen the film several times, but I had this unopened when my father in law was over. He loves action flicks and his primary language is Chinese. I put this on with the intention of explaining the whole movie to him, but as the movie started, I realized that the studio threw every subtitle track they had into the disc. The bluray has over 10 subtitle tracks, including Chinese, even though the back of the case only sauys eng, spanish, french. The bonus disc, plus the extra subtitles are worth re-buying this movie, expecially since I could watch the move again without having to pause and explain the film to my father in law. Excellent!

This is one of my all time favorite movies,so when it finally came out on blu-ray,i had to buy it the first day.The picture is a definite upgrade over the dvd,and the sound is also majorly improved(if you have the proper equipment).There are also some cool deleted scenes and featurettes,but i believe they are the same that were on the dvd.One of the great movies of the era,a must buy for any Deniro/Pacino or action movie fan.

I rented this on vhs when i was 15 with my friends and I remember we were enthralled the whole 3 hrs. I’m 43 now and HEAT is still a crime drama thriller with cool, neo-noir aspects. I cant wait to watch this with my son (who is turning into a cinemaphile like his dad) when we gets a little older.

The classic 1995 bank robber film and frankly one of the best ever from that era. What's not to love? It has a roundhouse, excellent cast with Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Val Kilmer in his early career, Jon Voight, Tom Sizemore, Wes Studi, Amy Brenneman (remember her from Private Practice?) and too many others to list. The story is beautifully shot with a definite pulse-pounding thrill ride as the film picks up mid-way and all the way to the end. I am knocking a star off for the blu-ray release itself, which is more the fault of Warner. They took out dialogue from the original film for some odd reason. So if you are looking for a "complete" version of Heat on Bluray, sadly this is not it (yet). You'll be better off searching for the Special Edition DVD.

The movie: amazing movie, one of the all-time heist/shootout movies. Good action, good cinematography (great shots of LA), acting is off the charts. Deniro and Pacino are at their best and their performances make this movie. The disc: transfer is really good. Picture quality is amazing, makes it look like new. Sound during the action scenes - definitely make sure you have good speakers.

Vincent Hanna(Al Pacino) is a cop following the trail from a deadly armed robbery to a crew headed by an equally brilliant master thief Neil McCauley (Robert De Niro).This movie goes way beyond the cops and robbers genre.The movie is very dramatic with character relationships gone astray.The movie also has the making of how to plan before you heist.The action scene shootout with the cops after the bank heist was one of the most memberal scenes of the film.The way it's shot with Michael Mann behind the camera works to his advantage.The actors are also equally good Val Kilmer playing as one of De Niro's longtime friends and right wing henchmen along with Tom Sizemore,Jon Voight,and Ashley Judd.No dvd extras to talk about.

A fantastic movie that has an all-star cast. Just like some of the other movies that I own, I had to watch this movie twice to get a real feel of it. The directing was great and the story was gripping. For any first time watchers, this movie deserves a shot, if nothing else, for the simple reason that Pacino and DiNero are in it.

This movie was made before the town, before takers, and is by far the best of them all. It has a great cast, and still doesn't feel dated. Check this movie out.

This movie is a good movie for anyone that loves action with a good story line. I didnt really know what to expect having all these stars together but I can never get tired of watching this movie. The downtown bank robbery/gun fight is awesome, especially with surround sound.

I surprised this movie hasn't been released on 4k Ultra HD but a great amazing movie one of the best with Robert De Niro.

Great storyline and great acting. This is a must for any DVD collection.

This will be, if not already, a true classic. Gritty in your face and very well done. It's a long movie, but you won't even notice it. Very well worth it. Add this one to your collection!

You have Pacino as a cop, De Niro as a criminal mastermind and both are extremely perfect together. This action-pack movie is just pure greatness

I could not believe I did not have this in my collection, well till now. Buy it, looks and sounds great on Blu Ray!

If you're looking for a riveting and exciting film that keeps you on the edge of your seat then you found the one. Admitted, the film is a little slow at the beginning but definitely picks up within the first 30 min or so. A should watch on your movie list

In my opinion, Michael Mann's best! Amazing performances from every actor as well!!
