although grainy > 4k scan > Heavy Metal is still great to watch. although never restored with missing story concept, still good. remastered audio pops on my 7.2 system.

A nostalgic animated classic in its own right but made even better with a 4k transfer and gorgeous steelbook. The sequel included in bluray makes a killer 1-2 punch.

I have owned this film in every format and this 4K restoration is the absolute best. They really did justice to the 4K Scan. Absolute worth every penny

I've seen Heavy Metal many times and own it on VHS and Blu-ray. This new 4K of Heavy Metal looks and sounds incredible. If you are a fan, this is the one to own.

Growing up in the 80’s, I have a soft spot for this movie. The music is fantastic and while the animation isn’t as polished as what we see today, it is still makes me smile. The second film is bArely watchable, but I’m glad they included it. I would have liked to see art cards or something inside the case.

Great must have for both superior picture and sound alone not to mention the steelbook packaging! Definitely worth the purchase.

This is an excellent 4K remaster of Heavy Metal! Having Heavy Metal 2000 on Blu-ray is a nice bonus even if it doesn't compare to the first.

This 4K UHD is absolutely the best this film has ever looked. As a bonus, the included Blu-Ray disc has the sequel, Heavy Metal 2000.

Remastered and looks incredible. If you're a fan of Heavy Metal this is the definitive version. Included the 1080p Blu-ray too.

Heavy Metal looks great in 4K, vivid color and clarity, and you get Heavy Metal 2000 thrown in, nothing to complain about here.

I am a big fan of the original heavy metal. The 2nd is ok. I have them both now. I had the original one, not in steelbook.

Been waiting for a special edition of this movie for years. Glad it came with a blu ray of the sequel. Great price too.
