    High Anxiety with High Anxiety!

Dr. Richard Thorndyke arrives as new administrator of the Psychoneurotic Institute for the Very, VERY Nervous to discover some suspicious goings-on. When he's framed for murder, Dr. Thorndyke must confront his own psychiatric condition, "high anxiety," in order to clear his name. An homage to the films of Alfred Hitchcock; contains many parodies of famous Hitchcock scenes from THE BIRDS, PSYCHO, and VERTIGO. Starring Mel Brooks, Madeline Kahn, Cloris Leachman and Harvey Korman. Great comedy - don't miss it.

An older Mel Brooks film I took a chance on, "High Anxiety" has enough chuckles to recommend it. Not a real laugh fest like "Robin Hood: Men In Tights" for instance, but enough to keep your interest. No regrets buying it and I will watch it again in the future.

One of the greatest comedy classics ever made. Mel Brooks, Madeline Kahn, Cloris Leachman and Harvey Norman are hilarious. Story line is about a psychiatrist who is as mentally incapacitated as the patients. Song "High Anxiety" music soundtrack included.

A doctor suffering from acrophobia - a spoof of Hitchcock's Vertigo. Since I love all Mel Brooks films, I would highly recommend this to moviegoers who appreciate old movies.

This homage to Hitchcock movies is loaded with silly tension & gags! Not Mel's best film, but definitely a classic movie of his. Murder, intrigue, suspense, this has it all.

For a movie from 1977, it is still a hysterical flick. A broad selection of funny actors appear to make it a can't miss DVD. If you haven't seen it, pick up the DVD ASAP!

Mel Brooks the man who gave us Get Smart, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein now brings us High Anxiety! Which parodies Alfred Hitchcock movies! Get it!

It was a great Mel Brooks movie with him as the main character. With lots of great references to Alfred Hitchcock.

First saw this one while I was still in graduate school. Mel Brooks taught me a lot about being a therapeutic psychologist.

Can't get much "old school" humor than this movie. A classic filled with dry humor and tons of stars from the past.
