The movie is already well known: you either love or don't care for it. Even though the editing has always been a bit rough, it's still a great movie to me. Christopher Lambert was still a diamond in the rough acting-wize, but other than that, it's a fun adventure. I gave it 5 stars, though the 4K is a bit gittier (grain) than I prefer, but not so much that it distracts from the move. Sound is excellent. Recommended! Hope they do the rest and bring out the TV seriers in an upgraded format. Just use the "renegade" versions, not the theatrical releases. Studios ruined the original versions.

This film is pure Cinematic Cheez Whiz. And I mean that with love and respect. It combines a great concept with really bad dialogue. One of the greatest Rock Opera soundtracks with misguided casting. (A Frenchmen playing a Scotsman!) And a charismatic performance by Sean Connery (A Scotsman playing an Egyptian masquerading as a Spaniard!!!!) with whatever most of the other actors are doing. This amazing combination is too good for this world.

The 4K Highlander movie is its best version ever of this movie.

Love steel books and this one is no exception. the wrap around cover art and clear cover slip along with 4 beautiful collector’s cards were worth the incredible low Best Buy price alone. Add the beautiful picture and sound provided on 4K which is a vast improvement from previous releases with brand new never before seen special features and you have your first “must have” media investment for the new year.

Highlander, finally on 4k. A movie I have grown to like over the years. It seems like it started off as this glorified B-movie and morphed into this epic, fantasy, sci-fi flick. Highlander simply came into its own and became the classic it is today. The rousing photography and memorable music is what won me over in the end.

The problem when putting movies like this on a newer, high definition format such as this, it tends to bring out the more noticable flaws with prosthetics and makeup that it kinda takes you of the movie. That being said, this is the best that this classic movie has ever, and probably will ever look.

Picture quality is amazing. Don’t listen to complaints about the grain. Yes there is grain. But it’s supposed to be there. And it is beautiful grain. This was shot on film . Not digital. Those people don’t know what they speak of. Truly amazing photography. Really enjoyed this one.

It is one of the classic icon movies of all time. Story, cinematography, action, and it’s Sean Connery and Christopher Lambert. This movie is so much more. The steelbook is just amazing looking, and to see it more as the throwback look it should be. Spend your money on it, worth it!

I’ve owned Highlander on VHS, DVD, and both bluray scans. This 4K is perfectly done. Feels like i am in the theater.Film grain is perfection! Color grading and detail provides so much new in practically every scene. One of the best 4K upgrades ever done! Thank you Lionsgate!

If you haven't seen this movie, WATCH IT NOW. Not only is a cult classic but this steenbok is one of the best OF ALL TIME. Taking my bias aside, it comes with premium cards, a sweet case and a restored version of the movie. The definition of collectors item.

I love the Highlander movies, such a great mix of fantasy, romance and epic sword battles. Now its on 4k, the resolution is beyond beautiful and audio is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this steelbook to anyone who is a super fan of 80's movies.

I saw this steelbook while I was browsing. Even though I had never seen the movie, it looked awesome, and I decided to blind buy. I’m so glad I did! This movie is so awesome, it deserves an awesome steelbook like this, especially for the price!

Blu ray is great but not the story. I would not recommend it to a collector. Steelbook packaging is great and artwork.

This was such a treat! If you haven't bought this movie yet, this is the one and only version you need. The original Highlander on 4K UHD looks great and I love the design for the Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook.

One of the best sets made. I love this movie. The steelbook is breathtaking. It includes card board shots of the movie that are amazing. All this and a digital code. You need to get this, it’s amazing!

Gorgeous Steelbook with protective sleeve too. Lionsgate is setting the standard for Steelbooks and price point. I'm not a fan of Highlander but as a Steelbook collector I had to pick this one up.

I already owned this 4K from Amazon so i knew about the stellar quality and audio. So I decided to pay it forward and buy my best friend the steelbook for Xmas and he absolutely ADORED it!

The 4K transfer is gorgeous, the sound is excellent, and there are so many great bonus features in this beautiful steelbook. Such a great price, too! The definitive version of a classic movie!

Gorgeous steelbook and great film. The transfer itself is probably the best it's going to look but not reference quality or anything. Fans of the film should not hesitate getting this.

Personally I will always love this movie; it holds a special place in my heart. The Artwork for the steel case is beautiful and I do enjoy the few character mini-posters that come with it. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because this was shipped to me and it looks like someone stomped on it because the plastic spin is split half way down and there a small dent in the steel case :(
