Viewing angle is horrible. Almost have to b directly in front of tv or the color is washed out. I did like how dark the blacks are. Tv picture is very bright too. I didn’t hear a difference in the Dolby atmos, actually kinda sucked, which was one of the reasons I bought it, besides the price. All hdmi ports r 4K @ 60hz, which is good for the series s.

This was a replacement TV for a six year old TV. The packaging was really done well the product came undamaged and was well packaged the unpacking was fairly simple although we did have a bit of issue taking it out of the box. I am always amazed how these newer TVs are so much lighter than the older ones this was no exception the instructions were fairly easy to follow and set up was a breeze. This is our families first smart TV but we had no problem setting it up the only complaint I have is that the Google software keeps wanting you to sign in to google and I am not a fan of Google so I had to keep bypassing that part. this is my families first 4K TV and according to my boys it is a very good color picture and the ability to do adjustments just makes it that much better. Now for the special part for me I am a totally blind user and found that this TV is totally accessible for someone who is in the same situation. By going to the software on the TVs accessibility settings I was able to set up the text to speech software to enable the TV to speak all menus and guides! This may not seem like a big deal to someone who is cited with to a totally blind individual who has never ever been able to access these features on the TV independently it is a true delight.

Overall been impressed with the TV so far. The picture quality is great, speakers work well, and is at a great price point. My only issue with the TV is the Android platform is not great. I’ve had some issues setting up my accounts on the apps (Hulu and NFL). I would let that detract you from getting this though, it is great otherwise.

This TV is amazing! I went expecting to get the usual Samsung or LG, but read a glowing article on Hisense. I was very skeptical but after viewing so many and seeing one on display with such sharp colors I walked that way and saw it was Hisense. Just a super great picture, easy to set up. Very happy with the purchase and thank the guy who put up with me for close to an hour of looking and questioning tvs

I mainly use this for watching sports by the pool, it has great color and is pretty bright. I tweaked the settings a little bit and it does pretty good. I use a HDTV antennae and have picked up almost 100 channels. Sound is pretty good and because I have this on an elevated stand, the sound fires down right a the viewer in the pool.

Very nice TV for the money. Packed exceptionally well, I had it upright in my SUV and didn't secure it well enough. A mile from home I took a turn too hard and it fell over and landed face down. The front of the TV is packed with extra padding and it survived with no problems at all. The picture is sharp and rich. Brightness is very good in a bright room and it looks even better at night. Well worth the money, hope it lasts a long time.

I had this TV a little over three weeks and am using it with a Comcast/Xfinity cable box plus a Blu Ray player. I also use a soundbar with subwoofer. I do not own a game system. I watch a lot of football and this TV is great for games; the Motion Clearness does NOT need to be turned on for sports in my opinion. Football is awesome on this TV. My Blu Ray discs and DVD discs look great too. I played around with various settings for the first week, and settled on the following after resetting all seven Picture Modes back to Factory Default: - I keep the Automatic Light Sensor turned on in the Picture>Backlight settings for all seven Picture Modes. The Automatic Light Sensor is an awesome feature which adjusts the backlight to the current room lighting conditions. - I've settled on always using the Theater Day Picture Mode... however, I prefer the picture to be less soft, so I increased the Sharpness setting in Theater Day Picture Mode from the default 7 to instead 12. And that's it for playing with the settings... other than turning on the Automatic Light Sensor and increasing the Sharpness in Theater Day Picture Mode, no other settings needed to be changed for my tastes. Overall, this TV has a great picture, and I have no complaints at this time. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend this TV. Finally... kudos to Best Buy telephone Customer Service for refunding $21.20 ($20 plus sales tax) back to my purchase card as a price adjustment due to a $20 price decrease occurring less than one week after my purchase.

Colors are great and the picture is quite good. I'm using a Directv box as well as an Apple TV 4K. Dolby vision content and hdr10 looks great. Unfortunately our unit has a defect with a couple pixels in the center front. Thankfully Best Buy will pick it up and drop off a new one for us. Fingers crossed the second unit is flawless.

    Goodbye Sony, Hello Hisense

All I can say is WOW! I have only owned Sony TV's for decades until now, Sony always had the most realistic picture and when it came to matching flesh tones nobody came close. I needed a new set for my finished basement, I maybe watch TV down there a couple times a week so I thought I would try to save some money but still get a quality TV. After reading the reviews on this Hisense model I gave it a try. I could not believe my eyes but it's true this set looks better then my Sony 55 inch 900E series set. So long story short my love affair with Sony is over, I'm crazy about this set, everything looks amazing on it, I did have to tweak the settings on it a bit out of the box but then it will blow you away. Don't think about it just buy this TV, you will save money and be blown away. By the way I hate doing reviews and I received nothing in return for writing this I just had to do it because I am that happy with it.

Excellent picture for the price, and the Android TV system is way better than FireTV (which I originally bought and returned for this one). Sound via built-in speakers is OK, but one really shouldn't expect a lot from it given the small speakers. Will be adding a sound bar system. But what could be improved is the range of the volume control. Most of the apps only use between about 1 and 15 on a scale of 100 before they are way too loud, but others use more. The result is poor control in most apps and blaring volume if you forget to turn it down after using one that has better use of the full range of control. I suspect this is an Android TV issue, not something Hisense can do something about. I added a webcam and can even do Duo video chat on it, though it shows up as a systems app and is a pain to access, Not all webcams are compatible, unfortunately. One I bought expressly for this that said it was "Android compatible" didn't work and an old Microsoft one at least 5 years old that I used as an initial test (and continue to use till I find a better one that works) works fine. Now if Spectrum would just release an Android TV compatible version of their app so I didn't have to use Chromecast or a decoder box to watch cable.

I needed a replacement 55" and didn't want to break the bank. I have never tried Hisense before. This TV had everything i was looking for in a phenomenal price bracket, so I am giving it a go. A week in and it is great. Easy to install, great software, and great picture.

This tv has a surprising picture for it's price. Color reproduction and saturation is very good, very little blooming, and overall is excellent for the value. Obviously it's not as good as the higer end brands and models, only 60hZ refresh rate, but will definitely surprise an average user for what you pay.

If you're looking to spend under 1K, this is the best TV for your buck. I looked for this specific model because of how high it's rated on rtings.com and I was not disappointed. It's Local dimming feature is not common for this price point and really makes the HDR pop.

A great buy. It is highly rated and for good reasons. It offers 4K ULED plus android TV. The sound system is surprisingly good. I use it for over the air access and all stations are bright and clear. It also has the contrast settings for your particular preferences. Comes with the HDMi cable.

Absolutely love this new tv! Brought it for my mom who has not had a new tv for many year's! Updated her to this one because i found a steal of a price, and it was totally worth it! She loves her new tv, the ease of working it and connecting all the streaming apps and all she uses was very easy.
