I'm a 67-year-old retiree that spends quite a bit of my time watching YouTube, Netflix and playing a few games on Xbox One. The first thing that grabbed my attention was how bright and clear the picture was, I upgraded my Netflix to 4K to get every bit of picture quality I could from that format. When I was playing Destiny on the Xbox I did notice a small amount of lag but I switched the TV mode to gaming and it made all the difference necessary to say goodbye to the lag I did experience, and I loved the picture brightness that gaming mode gave me that it's the mode that works for all my watching. I had a 3D 55" Sony before this 65" Hisense. I had a sound bar so I could hear a little better but with the 65" it also comes with larger speakers and I'm so impressed with the basic sound quality and a high level if needed. I generally can listen at a level between 25- 35 but it does depend on what source your watching, some need a higher level and it goes up to 100. The only thing I didn't care for was that it only comes with 3 HDMI's, I needed 4. But today 12/21/18 I just purchased my 2nd. 65" Hisense but upgraded to the H9E Plus and it does come with 4 HDMI's and I'm going to put this one in my wife's TV watching area because she only needs 3 HDMI's. I guess that's all I have to offer as a review for this H8. So now I guess I'll be a 3 Hisense TV household, Two 65's for entertainment and one 39" H5D that's used on a CCTV system, and once again a perfect picture.

I got this Hisense 65” smart 4K TV at a great price during a one day sale. I actually hadn’t expected too much since I had never heard of this brand, as I was updating a Samsung. I was pleasantly surprised to see a very clear 4 K picture with incredible audio (even without any additional speakers)

Took a chance and bought a TV that was just released with no reviews , this replaced my Samsung 60" HD tv , Out of the box setup was easy connected to wifi easly and updated software right away , picture is very nice with tweaking to my preference , If you watch something like Sesame Street the colors are amazing regular tv is ok , I did notice some motion blur that was easly ajusted in motion settings, I'm also using this with a X Box One S and play has been good no issues . So for the price point $749 it's a nice tv if you really want a bang you'll need to spend more, I did purchase Geek Squad just to guarantee my investment.

This is actually my second Hisense 65" 4k TV to buy now. It is a really amazing picture. The sound is like any other tv speaker sound, which is not that great. Sound bar recommended for sure. Set up is very easy, and for the price it is a great selection.

TV was good quality for the price but it has an odd look compared to other budget TVs that I can't put my finger on. It makes a fine living room TV that doesn't get used too often though.

I've been holding off on a 4K until now and this TV is amazing. It supports HDR and has HDMI 2.0b so it can take full advantage of upcoming 4K films. Built in apps and the hot buttons on the remote are super nifty and simple, and the size for the price and capabilities is the best. No strange light bleeding, once you calibrate the display the picture is amazing. The menu takes a bit to get use to and some options reset each time you turn off the display which can get annoying but it's quick enough to change if you really want those good colors. Highly recommend, was skeptical of the brand but no longer.

This was a 24 hr sale deal..65" 4k tv for 399.99 is hard to beat. I has 3 hdmi inputs and is "smart" . The tuner is pretty darn good for ota. I don't use the smart features as i have a firecast that requires a fire stick. I like the big remote that is hard to loose too. The picture is not as good as my sony 4k, but it is alo a 55 and was more then 2x the price. This tv is not the all out best tv out there, but i think it is the best one for 400..

Impossible to find a better price on a 4k tv with the features this set has. The only disappointment is the extremely limited choices in the smart menu with no way to add additional streaming services. Had to add an Amazon Fire TV unit to get access to Hulu and other important services.

I AM GOING TO BE A LITTLE 2 TRUTHFUL IN THIS REVIEW I ORIGINALLY PURCHASED THE 65" SHARP SMART TV WITH ROKU AND WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE SOUND AND THE FACT THAT 65" MEANT DIAGONALLY AND NOT HORIZONTALLY(WHICH IS MY MISTAKE BECAUSE IT CLEARLY STATES THAT ON THE BOX) BUT I RETURNED THAT TV AND THEY GAVE ME A TCL SMART TV AND THAT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE THE PICTURE WAS HORRIBLE COMPARED TO THE SHARP NEEDLESS TO SAY I RETURNED THE TCL THE SAME DAY AND WAS GIVEN THE CHOICE OF THE HISENSE BECAUSE THERE WAS NOT ANOTHER SHARP 65" SMART TV IN SIGHT BUT THE STORE MANAGER AND STAFF WORKED HARD TO SATISFY ME AND ORDERED THE HISENSE SMART 65" TO BE DELIVERED TO MY HOME!!!! I AM SATISFIED WITH THE HISENSE BECAUSE OF ITS OWN OPERATING SYSTEM(WITHOUT ROKU) THE PICTURE IS ALMOST AS GOOD AS THE SHARP SMART 65" I AM KEEPING THE HISENSE THE DIFFERENCE IS NOT BIG ENOUGH TO RETURN BESIDES IT HAS A LIL MORE SCREEN THAN THE SHARP BUT I LOVE THEM BOTH!!!! YOU CANT LOSE WITH EITHER TV FOR THE PRICE!!!! #NOTCL4ME!!!

I first was unhappy when we had the tv setup with Directv. The facial detail was so unfocused. After going thru the settings for picture I was a very happy customer. So please make sure your pic settings are done so you can enjoy the crisp color detailed picture as i do, The price was affordable with the sale price i received.

This is the 2nd one I’m purchasing. I’ve had the first one 3 years and great picture. I did have the screen go out shortly after purchasing, but the warranty covered it. The repair man said that this is what happens even to the most expensive TVs.

Decided to buy this set because it was on sale. At first, picture was amazing compare to my 10 year old Vizio. Notice motion lag during some videos. The lag happen during fast moving action and was getting annoying. My friend and I figured out it was the motion enhancement that was causing this lag. It has to be disabled Everytime you switch from picture formats. I also encounter Bluetooth sound lag when connected to my sound bar. Will update my review later on but I should have bought a TCL instead.... O well!

I can't really say that I like the decisions that the company behind this brand makes for its software. They don't seem to support their smart TV software once the TV is sold. Nothing has been updated and I can't add any new streaming services that came out since. But if you're the type of person that uses a set-top box, like a Roku or a NvidiaTV, The television itself is a quality product that will get the job done
