Customers also love the beautiful design, the inclusion of a real remote, and the improved HDR and upscaling capabilities. Additionally, they appreciate the good connectivity options and the 120hz refresh rate.On the downside, customers are negative about the smart TV features, motion blur, and limited apps. This is my first time to own tv Hisense brand, I can say I’m impressed with qulaity and excellent finish. This tv delivers high and crispy colors besides amazing sound as I’m comraing with what I have at home in same range and class but only one downasie is the white bleeding on its corner when screen is black. HRD works great and I watched couple movies from Blue ray to 4K format and was good. Its a good tv at the price since it provides most of qulaity needs.

The best TV for the money

I was always skeptical about buying electronics made by less popular brands, so I was mainly a Sony, Samsung, Canon, Apple, Lenovo guy. Recently my mom asked me to buy her a 65" TV, and naturally I started looking into most popular brands. None of the $900 range TVs gave me video or picture results I wanted. Plus none off them had 120HZ native refresh rate that makes videos look more realistic. So, I decided to give a try to this TV because in that price range it had all the features I wanted. When I unpacked it I was surprised to see how well made it was. The frame of this TV is a solid metal (not plastic), so it really looks like high end TV. Then, I started playing with different 4K videos from youtube filmed with professional 4K cameras, and was shocked by the quality of this TV screen. The colors are beautiful, bright, and the action videos are smooth and not "shaky". I think you can compare this TV to a Sony, or Samsung TV that would cost at least $1400 - $1600 if not more. I actually think that I will consider buying Hisense brand TV for myself this year (2018) if they have 70+ inch available. The only negative thing is that their menu is somewhat simplistic compared to Sony or Samsung. But dont get me wrong... The menu has main apps like youtube, netflix, amazon TV and other most popular ones and is simple enough for my mom to navigate. Remote control is simple, and does not look too fancy, but I also checked remotes from others brands in this price range... They are not fancier either. So, in my opinion you will not get better value, and quality for this price ($900) 65 inch TV. I will update this review if something changes my opinion, but now I am very happy with this purchase.

You are looking for a 4k, big size tv with a very important image, sound, quality ratio and all the functionalities of a smart tv but when you look into the different amounts that it will cost you, you turn around and you wish that black Friday would be here. Try again because you have all of it at a very nice price. I need to say that this is the first Hisense item in my house but I didn't, for any second since joined the house regretted to select this TV. I need to mention that I had a couple of firmware updates that far from bothering me, looks that the company is investing in keep up to day the software and the client satisfaction. This is having all that and more. From the moment that I installed in the living room and I connected to the cable box, there is no way that the family members go to other rooms to watch TV. The image is so clear and so big resolution that even the other 1080 tvs look now like old screens. I've been playing with different manual and automatic setups and I've been always to find the right contrast, color and shine. Gamming and Netflix experiences go to a complete different level including the sound functionalities where you question from where this power is coming because you really are in front of a so thin screen. After a couple of baseball games, I am just waiting for this year soccer World Cup and the promising image on it. I have no a single negative comment about this tv.

    Great TV

TV is great! I was a little concerned when I first got the TV setup and was seeing motion blurr pretty bad. I adjusted the motion setting and all that jazz and still too much. Then I found the solution! Just turn off the motion enhancement feature all together. Just use the source natural ratio etc and BAM the TV is beautiful. I have Xfinity and it is stunning. Also Im not sure if it makes a difference but I used a wired connection to the TV and it streams great. Netflix 4K is incredible. When the motion enhancement was turned on the blurr on the Amazon 4k was horrible. I almost packed the TV up to return it. So I hope this review helps someone that is had the same issues. TV is very attractive as well. And yes as other stated the TV is HEAVY!!! Heaviest TV I ever had. Get help to unpack and setup, if your hanging this TV good luck and make sure you have your mount on some serious anchor points. I would definitely buy this TV again as I got a great price on price match from a similar TV from a Big Box. Had to try a few time to get the price match but Best Buy finally gave in and matched the similar TV price. Just remember to disable the motion enhancement feature and the TV will make yo happy!!!

I shopped around and around this Xmas.. I read 100's of reviews. Seemed like everyone loved their TV's.. They couldn't all be right. So I narrowed my pics to the things I wanted. Oled, Qled, and Sony Bravia were the top. Could I get it all including size for under $1000? Yes. Hisense delivers in every way. This is the nicest tv I've ever owned. It's a beast at 80lbs. Amolzed screen like a high end phone. The HDR is stunning on Netflix and Amazon. The upscaling is stellar. The sound is very good for a panel. Game play and sports are beautiful. It has everything and if you see one at the store and it looks a little dim.. They have a store mode to save energy, so you aren't getting the real picture. There are many, many setting for your videophiles out there. I miss PIP, but hardly anyone has that anymore. This is a great bargain at this price. I'm going to buy one for my parents. People come to my house in awe of my TV flush on the wall.. This is as close to Oled and Qled you will find and you won't have to settle for 55 inches when you know everything is better when it's bigger.

Great for shows/movies/gaming. Bad for sports

    Posted .

The TV displays a nice, clear image on streamed content like Netflix. There is no input lag playing 4K video games when using the gaming picture mode. Unfortunately, the picture for live and replayed sporting events is just downright awful. When zoomed in on slowed down action (a close up of a player) it’s fine. When panned back to capture the entire shot (soccer game, football game) there are a myriad of issues. The first being an overall blurry image. It’s not crisp like you would expect from a TV at this price. In truth it looks like watching in standard definition. I know sports are broadcast in 720p, but this doesn’t even seem to be to that quality. The main reason I couldn’t recommend this TV however is the motion blur. I’ve owned several different brand TVs, including a 42” hisense I bought years ago, that didn’t even have a semblance of this issue. Sports are borderline unwatchable and I wish that were hyperbole. When a ball is kicked or thrown it has a tail like a comet on this TV. I’ve tried every default mode, aspect, and played with the motion blurring controls in the advanced settings. I’ve tried two different HDMI cables. Nothing works. This TV is just not meant for fast action. It’s like there is too much going on for the TV to process everything. The “trails” present themselves on anything moving fast, be it the ball itself or players limbs as they run. I could see where it may even be nauseating for people with motion sensitivities. All in all, if you aren’t interested in sports and will use this mainly for Netflix or 4K content/gaming it’s a fine TV. If you plan to watch any sort of fast action though I can not recommend it and wish that I had gone a different route. It’s dissapointing because the tech specs on this model indicate it should be able to flawlessly handle fast action. I guess there is a chance I got a “lemon,” but I would try before you buy. If anyone has any recommendations for fixing or troubleshooting this problem they are welcome. Like I said, I’ve tried all the settings and have tried two different HDMI cables

    Absolutely Amazing!!

When I first saw this TV on display at Best Buy 6 months back I was so impressed with the vivid colors and display of this TV. I asked the sales guy if the TV was an OLED? He responded NO, it's an ULED 4K TV. My response was it looks just as crisp and clean as the $5000 LG OLED that was on display. He smiled and said yes HiSense did a nice job with these. So to make a long story short, if you are looking for an amazing deal on a 65" ULED 4KTV that rivals a High End LG OLED this is the one for you! Plus it will not break the bank!! This TV replaced a 55" LG 4KTV and the difference is like night and day!!

    Bad lip syncing

Picture is good after setting everything up. The downfall, the lip syncing continues to be an issue. You have to turn the TV off then back on. Sometimes it will drop sound completely. Have to unplug the TV for a moment then plug back in. Not happy at all. Will be returning

I was looking to upgrade a downstairs TV and have had Hisense before, they offer a great product at a very competitive price, not to mention I caught this as Best Buy was Clearancing the TV out so it was discounted over 50% off compared to the SRP. Great crisp picture, keeps up with sports pretty well, EXCELLENT value!

I left a review when I bought this tv. Today reading over some of the other reviews I think perhaps these people should call for tech support. I have not run into any of these issues. I have no random flashes of lights, I have no issues with connectivity, no issues with the remote. Yes the TV is heavy but you would expect it to be for the size. This is the second Hisense TV I have purchased and for the price you cant beat it. Why spend more money for name brand? yes the Opera software does lack some of the more popular apps but they have been working on that and have added more to the service. I would highly recommend this tv!

    Digital Output Issue

This TV worked great since the last 4 years. The TV speaker sound is not great, so I connected it to a sound bar. I recently noticed that the digital out setting is causing frequent pauses in the sound output to the Sound bar. Now I am forced to listen to TV speakers though no pauses but very disappointing as I couldn’t use soundbar.

    Disappointed by compatibility

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I’ve tried to mirror my iphone on this TV since it claims it’s bluetooth and has great compatibility features... after testing with bluetooth, HDMI cables, different mirroring apps, etc... turns out Hisense IS NOT compatible with iOS devices. So basically, you have to buy an Android device to do such things. But wait, according to the customer service after several emails back and forth, it’s actually compatible only with android devices running 4.4.2 or LOWER. Yes, that’s correct: or lower. 4.4.2 was released around 2013/2014. So if you have bought an android device in 2014 or if you have updated your OS version since 2013 it’s not compatible with this TV. So this TV would be 5 stars if I had an android device and if we were still in 2013. That’s 5 years ago. What have they done in the last 5 years? Hisense needs to seriously and quickly get back to 2018 and update their OS compatibility issues. Of course after all tests and communication with Hisense support, I am now past the deadline to return this product to Best Buy. Very frustrated.

This television should also support screen casting for devices using newer versions of the Android operating system.
