Excellent TV. Better audio than I expected. Best bang for the buck under $1000, but I should have bought the 100”.

I was initially happy with this Hisense TV because the picture quality is decent and the sound starts out perfectly fine. Unfortunately, after using it for a short time, the audio becomes distorted and muffled, almost like the speakers are blown out. Dialogue turns hard to understand and louder scenes sound crackly and unpleasant. Adjusting the audio settings, volume levels, and sound modes doesn’t fix the issue. For a TV at this price point, I expect consistent sound performance, not something that degrades during normal use.

I purchased the tv 16 days ago and the price went down on amazon and best buy by $50 and when i chatted with an agent to do a price match they said the couldn't as the return period passed. I will never buy anything from best buy every again !!! Horrible customer service. They wouldn't even offer me exyra rewards or gift certificates. Buyer beware of best buy!! If this was amazon they would be more accommodating. Next time i will be making my purches from Amazon!!!

Wow what a TV! The Hisense 85QD7QF is such a massive upgrade from my regular LED 65” that I’ve had since 2019. The first thing that is noticeable is the brightness on this miniLED display is multiple levels beyond my old TV. The picture pops SO much more! Then, I was messing around with my SFF PC getting it connected, and WOW 4k 144hz at 85” is insane, my couch gaming just got amazing! With the low latency modes and gaming modes enabled, I cannot tell the difference between this display's response and my OLED on my main desktop! Coming from a regular 4k 60hz display to this 144hz display reminded me the importance of cables. I tried multiple “8K” rated cheap cables and none worked. I got one rated for higher refresh 4K from my local big box store for CHEAPER than the ones I found online, and it works perfectly! Just be aware that the top 2 HDMI ports are 60hz (and have eARC) and the bottom 2 work at up to 144hz which is great if you have a gaming PC and a console to connect! I’m not a huge fan of the interface, but otherwise, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a big home theater upgrade! Installation sidenote - I’m a larger dude at 6’3” 220lbs, (a softer “dadbod” type) but I couldn’t for the life of me, install this beast by myself (aka get it wall mounted, weighs just over 80lbs according to the specs). Do yourself (and your back, arms, shoulders) a favor and get help, just one other average person will get it up there no problem!

The Hisense 85" Class QD7 Series Mini-LED QLED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV is an awesome television. It feels like I’m in a movie theater whenever I watch it. Years ago you had to get a projector and screen installed in a theater type room in your home in order to have a screen this large or something equivalent. We’re now able to have something like this in any room in our homes with lights and windows. The screen quality is awesome. It’s my go to TV for watching sports now. I don’t even want to watch them on my other TVs. The television comes well packaged and easy to get it out of its packaging. The box has plastic tabs that you press and remove, which allows the box to open up. I currently have a TV table that’s made for TVs up to 65 inches. I knew this 85” TV would be wider than the table, but I was going to place it on the table anyway until I found a wider table I liked. The fee that go on the bottom of this TV are near the end of the left and right side of the TV. I was not able to place it on the table. I ended up purchasing a metal VESA that allowed the feef of the stand to be more near the middle of the TV. I was then able to place it on the table. The TV comes with plenty of ports. I purchased a TV from another brand, and it had limited HDMI and other ports. This TV comes with 4 HDMI ports, AV in, Headphone jack, LAN, Digital Audio Out, Cable and 2 USB ports. The TV comes with Firestick operating system. I’m able to download all of the major entertainment apps with no problems. I’m even able to download and install the Xfinity app, which allows me to watch cable TV without running a cable line to my TV. The TV comes equipped with Apple AirPlay, which allows me to mirror my iPhone, iPad and MacBook to my Television. This comes in handy when showing photos to family and friends. It has Amazon Alexa built in which allows me to control my smart home devices, as well as using it for interaction with the TV. The Firestick app I downloaded on my phone works great with the TV as well. The speakers on the TV sound pretty good. I still added a soundbar to it so I can get deeper bass for certain programs. So far this is the best TVs I’ve owned and hope to get years of use from it.

I recently upgraded to the 85" QD7 MiniLED from Hisense, and honestly, it feels like a massive jump from my old TV. Most of us don’t change TVs every year — we replace them when the old one finally gives up — and when you do, the difference is usually night and day. This was exactly that. First thing you notice is the size and brightness. An 85-inch screen sounds big on paper, but once it’s on your wall, it feels like a mini movie theater. The MiniLED and QLED combo makes colors really pop. Bright scenes look bright without washing out, and darker scenes still have good depth. For everyday watching — sports, YouTube, Netflix — it just looks clean and sharp without needing to mess with settings. Second, I really like how smooth everything feels, especially sports and fast scenes. Motion looks natural, not blurry. Even regular cable looks better than it did on my old set. And 4K content? Totally different level. Third, setup was easy. Fire TV is simple, apps load quickly, and the remote does what it’s supposed to do. No learning curve. Within minutes I was streaming. Honestly, for someone upgrading from a 5-8 year old TV, this will feel like a serious upgrade. Bigger, brighter, sharper — and that’s really what most of us want when we buy a new TV.

Definitely worth every cent I expend on this tv. Very nice vivid colors and black images.

Crystal clear display, deep blacks and smooth refresh rate. Great TV and 85 inches is not too big, just big enough!

it not bad for the price. i’m happy with the purchased, but i need to learn more about it. For instance setting the refresh rate to max, for some reason mine default to the lowest hertz. i will play around more. So far it’s a great product.
