The built in speakers are good enough, but I recommend getting some type of decent sound bar or surround sound.

Would drop hdmi input occasionally. Built in Google TV wasn't usable. Had to buy a Roku stick which stayed connected no problem. Ended up returning.

It is fantastic, better than expected. I combined it with the Bose Smart Ultra soundbar, and it is amazing.

If you enjoy live sports, then avoid. I can't get live sports to look good. My $500 TCL TV performs loads better for live sports. I've tried a ton of different setting configurations and changed recommended settings in developer mode. No luck. Very disappointed as I watch sports 80% of the time. Tried on Google TV and ROKU. Might need to fork out $150+ to see how Apple TV performs.
