I ordered Hollow Knight for my son for Christmas. It came in with plenty of time to pick up and get it wrapped and under the tree. The game is great and he's been playing it a bunch since Christmas Day.

Got this while it was on sale for $16. A warning before you buy though. You WILL rage quit, I can guarantee it. But this is a beautiful game, and if you're skilled, I 100% recommend it.

This game is breathe taking, equal parts relaxing and challenging. Cant wait yo play the next installment.

I bought this because I love the visual style. I’m not very good at this game because it is quite difficult, especially the boss fights, but the game is still so much fun. If you are easily frustrated by difficulty level, check out other reviews to see if you will like this game.

I was always skeptical on this game. I first thought it was going to be a childish game and BOY was I wrong! The graphics are absolutely amazing and the soundtrack sets the tone for each area you explore. Can be a little difficult at times, but that’s the beauty of a challenge.

Great game. You are going to get lost in the world of hollow knight. So i hope you are ready. The gritty art style is perfect for this game. And the game play over all is so much fun.

As far as Metroidvania style games go, this game has it all: tons of exploration in a huge and beautiful world, tight responsive controls, a well thought out and intuitive upgrade system, a stunning art style, and an amazing soundtrack. You cannot go wrong with Hollow Knight and can easily sink 50+ or even 100 hours into this game.

Beautiful art style, with challenging combat. this game one of the best metrovania games out in the market, along side Ori, Metroid Dread and Blasphemous.

They recieved the game at the bestbuy. I obtained it from curbside pick up. Game works.

Boy am I sad to say I missed the hype train on this game. What an amazing game! If you like metroidvania with tight controls and combat this is the one!

Hollow knight is a fun game to play, and is very beautiful for a sidescroller with just the right amount of challenge to be exciting. The music is very relaxing, and it is a complete delight. Also came with a handy map as well as all the DLC. Well worth it for the price.

A fantastic and charming Metroidvania. Though the genre is now swapped with tons of games, this one is a stand out that fans of that type of game should have in their collections. Has a much deeper and interesting story then you would expect.

So I really really really love team cherry and what they have done with this game Hollow knight and even more so their sequel Silksong! I love the level designs (except the sparse benches), I love the boss fights, I love the tone/atmosphere, I love this game and I love silksong even more! I just had to buy a physical copy and I hope silksong gets one too!

fun but challenging game if you like metroidvania you'll like this

I can't beat Hornet, and I keep dying, but it's a fun video game.

so far having fun with this game. Im not too far into it yet, only because I play multiple games and work a full time job with 3 kids. the only thing I thought was kinda lame was you collect a form a currency by killing enemies and then use the currency to purchase items in the shop. well I was lost and was trying to find out where i was on the map, which i only was able to see a small portion of. come to find out i actually had to buy map identifiers from the shop. so to show my characters location on the map i had to purchase that, to show where save benches were, i had to purchase that. I enjoy the grind to collect and purchase items for your quest, but something like the map i think would be a default part of the game.
