The mini has been a great help with lighting, weather, scheduling, alarms, music, etc. Overall it's a neat little device. The only complaint I have comes from volume control when you have multiple speakers connected. It works, it's just a little finicky at times. This is likely to be improved with updates.

My kids love having a Google Mini in their room

My kids love having one in each of their rooms. They enjoy playing mad libs, asking Google for answers, listening to stories, asking for the weather tomorrow so they know what to wear to school, and also joking around with Google Assistant. It's amazing how far a digital toot can go....
