I love movies with story line. Jason is top notch.

If you like action you will like this movie. Adapting to a Southern lifestyle is not easy for someone who is willing to fight anyone and good at it. Protecting your family is always important. Not sure why he didn't just leave.

Nothing is overly original about this piece, but don't let that stop you from seeing it. Statham does what he does best, kick butt and James Franco over the top villain is a fun diversion from his usual stuff.

It may not be a great movie but it was fun to watch and had a story to it. Of course, Statham get to showcase his skills. I might not pay to go to a theater to see it twice but I will watch it again on the TV.

Action movie. Similar format to what you get watching his movies. Good snowy COVID movie to watch.

Good movie in real world situation, I enjoyed watching

Jason Statham does a magnificent job as an ex-DEA agent who retires after a drug bust gone bad. He retires to a small town in Louisiana and wants to live a quiet life. His daughter is taught "how to defend herself" and punches out a school bully. Things escalate and word gets out to the motorcycle drug group that Statham is in town. Great pace, great action. Daughter shows a strong will and then turns into a wall flower at the end. Could have made her more consistent. Clever setup for the final scene. I would recommend it. On par with the Equalizer(Denzel Washington)

Homefront belongs to a raggedy old breed of '90s homestead action thriller that refuses to go quietly into the night. Adapted from the Chuck Logan novel of the same name by none other than genre icon Sylvester Stallone, the film limps from one fight scene to the next without laying sufficient groundwork. The script is rife with cliché and bad dialogue, the story is both underdeveloped and unnecessarily convoluted, and the hometown heroes and backwoods criminals make one boneheaded decision after another. It doesn't help that the characters are reduced to two-dimensional caricatures, chief among them Jason Statham's umpteenth man of action -- hitting a rare trifecta as a former soldier, ex-cop and devoted single father -- and James Franco's southern fried cornbread kingpin, Gator Bodine. (One more time: Gator Bodine.) More troubling? The split-second beatdowns, splashy shootouts and 'splodey bits are as slick and improbable as they are overly choreographed and brutally edited... which would be all well and good if Stallone and director Gary Fleder subscribed to the Tenets of Big Dumb Fun. Particularly #7: Thou shalt not aim so high whilst firing so low. Homefront is Big Dumb Fun minus the fun, taking itself much too seriously while pushing its action too far over the top.

jason statham is such a legit tough guy that his movies has really drawn my attention ...every now and then he will make a clunker but most part i really enjoy them to a whole this is a good movie decent plot and love the action scenes

another typical jason movie where he is beating everybody up and u have to love those movies i do.
