My kids have allergies and it was recommended that I use a humidifier in their rooms at night, especially during the winter. I cannot comment on its health benefits, but as a humidifier it works well. It only has 2 settings (low/high) so it is very easy to operate. My kids can turn it on at night and off when they wake up. The low setting provides an adequate amount of steam. Capacity is only 1 gallon, so it must be refilled a couple times a week. On the bright side, it's not too heavy when filled. My water is fairly hard, so after a week of use, the heating element gets quite a bit of build up. I bought a gallon of cheap vinegar just to clean it. The heating element is easily accessible, so cleaning is not difficult.

Simple design, efficient energy to mist output, easy to use, cleaning can be slightly difficult depending on type of water used. Upper handle can be a problem, it can separate from tank, if aware !! Easy to reduce stress on handle. Best deal /$$

Purchased this for my 6 month old daughters room. Have been using it now for almost two months, and we are very happy with the ease of use and quality. As is always, the designers did not think about ease of filling when they designed the top of the tank, it is a little unsteady on its own. Otherwise, it is fairly quiet, does a great job of humidifying the room, and is easy to clean and use. Also, since it is warm air, it has not have a filter/paper element to change. I find myself liking the soft glow from the selection switch, and our daughter likes the burbling sound that it makes. Makes sure to use distilled water if you have hard water. It makes a huge difference in how long these things last. A good product overall.

This Honeywell humidifier runs quietly and the water reservoir lasts for hours. We run it in the evening while we are watching TV. And then it runs all night long while we are sleeping. The warm mist does not condense on anything. It just dissipates into the air. It was a great price, best that I found.

This unit has a small foot print that takes up less space. It starts up quickly and has an easy to use selector switch. I intended to use it in the bedroom but, it is a little noisier than the one I have in there now. I use it in the living room now. It helps warm the room and makes the air feel more comfortable. I'm happy that I bought it.

This Honeywell has design, price and value in its favor. I've had bad experiences with those round big humidifiers before. Unlike those, this sleek machine fits any nook in any room. It doesn't feel bulky but does fill up 2 gallons. The two levels make the water last for almost 16 hours. This is a great product and I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

Although there are some negative reviews about this Product on many forums, I thought of giving it a try. And what I have found is that it does work as expected. It's been about a month and I did not see any issues with this product till now. It is a warm mist humidifier, but the body is cold to touch. I always use filtered water, so did not see much sedimentation in the tank. The humidifier does provide enough humidity for a large room. It helps in avoiding dryness if you are running the heater.

This product has qualities which may be good for some but not for others, which is why I rated it a 3. • it is extremely powerful. I have it in my small-medium sized bedroom in a ranch style house and although it keeps the room it's in comfortable, it also causes a lot of condensation on not only the windows in my room but throughout the entire house. • It's kind of poorly designed for frequently refilling. Even if it is empty, when you life the tank up it drips water and even does so when going to put it back on. • Lasts a long time depending on setting. On high a full tank will last around 12hours. The low setting lasts much longer. • The auto shutoff works perfectly. It doesn't make any noise to bother you in your sleep, it simply just shuts off and the light changes to red. Overall, great for the price especially if it won't be in constant use.

Nice machine, does exactly what we needed. We use it in our 300 sq ft with a 9 ft ceiling bedroom during the dry winter months. We use only distilled water in it, and it stays very clean. Quiet operation. Simple mechanicals, which means not much can go wrong with it. Only downside is that it's black, which shows all kinds of dust and fingerprints.

We run these all winter to cut down on static electricity generated by gas heating. The tank is easy to fill and lightweight. It doesn't take long to generate steam. It shuts itself off when empty in case you forget to turn it off or unplug it. It's quiet. We have one in the bedroom and can hardly hear it running.

Have had this for awhile and use it constantly in the winter. Not very noisy, small, but it does what it should. Looking to get another one for the living room

some people would be turned off by this being a warm mist humidifier, however according to the Mayo Clinic there is no difference. My room is very comfortable, there is a medicine cup so if you had a cough or a cold you could put some inhalant or some aromatherapy oils in it. The static electricity has been virtually elminated. It is easy to refill and will run 24+ hours on low.

I've used my humidifier during winter across the country and this unit works very well in small to average sized bedrooms. No more dry sinuses, itchy skin. The unit is relatively easy to keep clean too. Vinegar in the base, weak bleach in the reservoir about once a month and you'll be fine.

Our whole house humidifier does not work well as most that are attached to a heat pump don't. This one is great for a medium to large room to supplement a bigger unit or whole house unit. It puts out several gallons of water a day and it has significantly raised the humidity level of the room/floor where we have it. It is very quiet - you can't even tell it is on.

My large humidifier stopped working. I would get cold when it ran because it was a cool mist. This time I chose a warm mist and I love it. I do use it in a larger room and it is opened to another room but still does a great job for the size! Also picked it up on sale, icing!

This humidififer works very well. I purchased two of them after reasearching various brands and types. I chose a warm mist humidifier because I believe it will be more helpful for dryness as I was having issues with nosebleeds. I have one in my bedroom and one on my office desk. They both run very quietly and emit a steady stream of warm mist. I followed all directions and have had no problems with leaking, etc. Got a great price at Best Buy

This unit is small and inexpensive, but it's able to humidify a drafty attic bedroom very well (15' x 35') -- no more dry skin or irritated nasal passages in the winter! The reservoir will last an entire night on the high setting. The unit makes a slight hissing and occasional gurgling sound as water is heated. You need to clean the unit with vinegar and bleach regularly (every week according to the manual). Doing so has kept the unit running well.

I haven't used any other humidifiers before so hard to rate how good this one is. I researched based on price and reviews and this was the best choice. Works like is should and is pretty quite when operating.

We bought this for our daughter due to a cold. It warms up quickly and provides a lot of steam, which is nice since other units we had took a long time before the mist was generated. The price was very low and it has performed well for us in the three months since we purchased it. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a small, inexpensive humidifier.
