Looked like it would really work better than a regular fan since it has 2 separate ones, but not so. Only one can be directed. Only 2 speeds. Doesn't get the job done so be prepared to return it.

It was very weak blowing the air and did not move around like I thought it would so I returned it the next day.

I bought this fan specifically for air circulation and it works GREAT for that purpose. If you are looking to buy a fan w/powerful air output, this is not the fan for you. On the highest setting I would say that it is only a med to low compared to some of the other fans of similar size that I have for output. (ie to blow on me to cool me down.) Yes, it is a very quiet fan, but that is probably because the fan blades & "engine" work at a lower speed.

I bought this fan in part because other reviewers talked about how quiet it is - which is true, it is not a noisy fan. It's not a great fan if you are trying to cool a largish room with just this fan, but used in tandem with a second fan (in our case a taller oscillating fan), it works great to keep air circulating. Because it is small and lightweight it moves easily from floor to up on a table depending on where we need it (low during the day, higher up over night to help pull cool air into the house).

Read other reviews on this product before I purchased it. It's great for my needs. Fan can move up or down, but cannot move side to side. It is very quiet and sometimes I can't tell if its on or not. Only two speed, and the high speed is not high, more like medium. But it serves it purpose for my needs. I used it in my walk-in closet to circulate air flow. Good fan for the price.

I had read some of the reviews before this purchase. My 2 cents is that this is not a high power fan to begin with. My purpose is to keep under my desk at work to keep me cool. I typically just have 1 of the fans on low and does a great job. If really warm, then I'll turn both fans on low. Never felt better at my desk. Also, pretty quite fan with both running on low. Doesn't disturb others. I wouldn't buy it to use in a large room.

Love the fan but could use some improvements on controls. It would be nice to have it go faster at least one notch more. Over all real happy with the fan though, because it cools GREAT.

I used to own this fan a couple of years ago, and I liked it, I have not been able to find it in stores so I bought a single small blade fan called a Vornado, it is very powerful even though it is smaller . This Fan I bought is still nice , I like how light weight it feels and easy to bring from room to room, It will do the job especially if you turn it toward you, I also want to mention that it is nice and quiet.

I would buy another one if it goes on sale again. My dog likes to lay in front of it too. Just for those cool evenings I like to bring in the cool fresh air from outside, We love it and use it every day to circulate from one room to another.

Purchased this for about 40 dollars on sale and was a bit disappointed. First of all, each fan only has 2 speeds, which is unusual for fans in general. So the highest speed is equal to a medium speed on regular fans...that's as much air as you are going to get. They used to make a 3 speed version (model 8800) but that has been discontinued. Interesting that they advertise this on the box as a feature saying "30% quieter". Yes it's 30% quieter because there is only low and medium fan speed...no high. So it should say "33% less power"! Anyway, if this was less than 30 dollars I would say it is a fair value, but at 40 dollars, it really isn't worth it as it doesn't provide enough air.

super quiet! perfect for my medium sized bedroom - i can feel the air from the other side of room also! not sure what other reviewers are talking about they must have 20' x 20' x-large rooms lol my room is about a 10x12 and is perfect! super quiet, compared to other fans of same speeds/power - easy to fall asleep to also - sounds more like white noise than a fan - perfect for city life awesome fan for awesome price - i would purchase another !

I bought this for a 12 x 12 room and it is just fine. It's not the quietest thing but that's okay since it helps to put my daughter to sleep! It's like a white noise purpose while cooling the room. I wouldn't buy it if you are looking to cool a big family room. I just don't expect it to be efficient for that purpose plus, it might interfere noise-wise with a TV. For what I paid, it's been a good deal for our purposes.

If you have a small bedroom and cannot handle the sound of your typical fan this is the one for you. This is one of the quiestest fans I have heard. Unfortunately, I was looking to move some serious air and this didn't cut it. It says right on the box that "You can feel it 26 ft away", I'm not sure if they were blowing it through a pvc tube or what but, I couldn't feel it more than 6ft away. It is pretty well put together and seems like it would last a while. Other than the misleading comment on the box this is an ok fan, just don't expect a power house. I would reccomend this to a friend who had a small room and wanted a near silent fan but, no one with the same needs as I had.

I just bought this fan on a Best Buy one day deal at a steal for $30. I haven't been able to test it on a really hot day yet but I work in a warehouse and the lowest setting really cooled off my work area. My intention is to take it home to use so I think using the dual fans at home will really work well. I like the cool dual design and will add to my post as the weather gets hotter to let you know how well it does. I would recommend this fan.

Big help during recent heatwave. Did not have to turn on air conditioner for 2 days. Kind of weird though that there are only 2 speeds: high & low. I also miss oscillation of other fans I've owned. To get the full benefit of coolness you have to be sitting in front of the fan. Great for small rooms.

It's not what I expected, the design is cute & it stands perfect on the floor. The only fan that rotates is the bottom one, & it barely dose that. It's not turbo, that is false advertising, the only truth is that it is silent. & I'm guessing is because it barely has power to it. I recommend it for very small rooms, like in my case it works great in my toddlers room, or a perfect gift for someone going to college, just don't spend more than $15.00 to $ 20.00 on this product.

This is one of the quietest fans I've seen, even more impressive since it has 2 motors. The downside to that is it doesn't put out the amount of air that you would expect with 2 fans. It works well for my needs, but it would be nice to have a little more air movement if I needed it.
