I purchased this portable unit as a temporary "fix" for my home office. I converted a detached garage into an office and was still researching ductless heating and air systems. I purchased the 12,000 BTU model because I needed to cool about 350 square feet of space. However the unit barely cools the area around my desk and certainly doesn't even begin to cool the entire space. If you are looking for a "spot cooler" then this unit will do the trick. Just don't expect to cool an entire room!!

I live in an older home and it provides me with comfort. The air conditioner keeps 3 rooms at 78 degrees when it is 95 degrees outside. If I close off two rooms if will reach the low 70's. Very happy with the timer I can set to start it up before I get home from work. Easy to set up from the start. It's worth the money I spent. Very happy.

I love to be able to move it from room to room. It is convenient, easy to move. It cools several rooms and the price was right.

A/c broke down and needed some relief. This portable unit was a perfect solution until the house a/c unit is replaced. A little noisy but it beats having a hot and humid room.

This was my first portable air conditiong unit. It was easy to install and operation is very simple. It's quiet compared to window units and much more flexible where it can direct air. Because it has a low profile venting through the window I feel more secure against break-ins vs. window units and it doesn't stick out like an ugly sore thumb. Absolutely no regrets with the purchase after a month of 90+ degrees outside.

This AC unit does a great job keeping a loft / studio area manageable even with the cathedral LR downstairs not cooled in any manner, other than a large ceiling fan. Never had to drain any water at all this past summer. Would purchase again, very satisfied with this purchase.

Our ac went out and we had to buy this to use for a while, we ended it up keeping it since it blows super cold air, i just wish it would work great for bigger rooms

It does the job pretty good. I just with it was a bit quiter, since its inside the house.

When my air conditioner went out in my rental condo, I needed to find a quick solution to keep my tenant cool while I waited for the warranty company to fix the air conditioner. I wanted to make a wise choice with my purchase because, let's face it, these aren't cheap, so I was looking at this purchase as an investment. After several days of endless reviews and searching, I decided on the Honeywell brand and on this model in particular. The unit is very easy to hook up and very easy to use. The unit runs quiet for an air conditioner and doesn't rattle or sound cheap. The item weighs quite a bit, but has a smaller footprint than other models. The built in coaster wheels makes it easy to transport, and let's face it, it feels like a very well built machine. After I get the air fixed in my rental condo, I plan to hook this unit up in my bedroom to run at night and save on energy costs. I'm very happy with the performance of this machine and when I took the temperature of the air that it blows, it registered 38.5 degrees F on my laser thermometer. Overall, very impressed with this machine, the remote control that is included is just an added bonus. If you are looking for a a well built portable AC unit that delivers, then you'll be satisfied with this model.

First A/C I have ever purchased but I totally love it. No need to empty water from it and and gets a room cooled very quickly...

Nice portable unit with extra parts needed to install in slider window. Only concern is that it makes more noise than I had hoped.

If the price scares you dont let it. The product is great and it looks REALLY good. Cools the room quick and does what you want it to do. Honeywell is a big name in the a/c bussiness and builds great products.

This unit has efficient cooling without dumping water all the time; easy installation, even with the coil vent that sometimes disconnects. The cooling vents are situated just right; Not too loud; would get these for other rooms to avoid window installations, especially for seniors.

The air conditioner cools well and I have not had to empty any water. I wish the temperature control was easier to set and the kit fit the window better. I have had trouble completely sealing out the outside air.

This AC work very well in the summer, except its a bit loud for me during night time when sleeping. But definitely a great AC to use during day time and it also comes with a dehumidifier.

I selected this product because it was the only one available in the store at the time, but I have been very satisfied with my purchase. Everything comes in the box so you can set-up and cool down in no time. The settings are easy to use. I bought the unit to keep my Golden Retriever puppy comfortable during an unusually hot and humid summer, and I've thoroughly enjoyed being able to escape the heat.

Keeps a 19' x 19' room very cool. Easy to set up. Does exactly what I wanted it to do. Remote is convenient for changing temp without getting up.
