Keeps room very cool, very easy to operate. Will use as dehumidifier this winter

It cools the space...on very humid days I have to keep it on high in order for the room to be cool. I did research and knew that the portable ac doesn't cool as well as a window unit...I like the idea that I can open the window when I want with a portable unit.

With our central air conditioner out, we were sweltering in the hot Texas summer weather. In desperation, we purchased this unit. During the day, it kept our room only at about 80 degrees. But, considering that it was 98 outside, that's not bad. At night it got down to 72. It was a life saver, but don't expect it to work like a window unit. If you really want to keep a room cold in the heat of the day, a window unit is your best bet. If portability is a must, this isn't a bad choice.

We needed the unit to help cool down our server/server room and so far it seems to be doing the job well and keeping the area cool

The other nice feature is that when the unit is not being used you can take the exhaust pipe out of the window for when its cold out, or for security so that you can lock your window. The performance of this unit was really above my expectations. It cooled our Kitchen, Livingroom, Dining Room and a large hallway! It also looks much sleeker than other units, and it's quieter than our previous unit. I would recommend this unit for anyone in the market for a portable air conditioner.

My fiance and I thought it was quiet than we expected. It also drop the room temperture in short time. We checked the other brand before purchased. The size of this is much smaller than other brands.

Purchased this unit fir my mom's bedroom which is about 500sqft and it keeps the temp down.below 66°.

We survived because of this ac unit when our central air broke down in the middle of a heat wave. And now it is in our upstairs guest bedroom. Its portability and its attractiveness make it very versatile.

This AC is AMAZING! Have used other AC's in the past and this is the best so far. Love how it doesn't have to be drained of water. It isn't that loud as everyone states.

My central AC went out recently. We purchased this as a back up. It does a great job cooling the room, but it struggles replacing hot air. So if there is a heat source like a oven it won't over come that unless it's not on. Great unit, noisy as a window unit, and cools just as good. Doesn't accumulate water in the unit, but you will notice condensation on the top of unit

THIS THING IS AMAZING, I SPENT SO MUCH TIME RESEARCHING PORTABLE AC UNITS AND THIS WAS BY FAR THE BEST!! DON'T LET THE SIZE FOOL YOU, IT MAY LOOK SMALLER THAN OTHER PORTABLE AC UNITS BUT IT WAS EASY TO SET UP AND IT COOLS DOWN THE ROOM QUICKLY.

I needed to reduce the temperature of my shop which is insulated and it does a good job of doing that as long as I keep the door to the outside closed.

It is a powerful unit, does its job very well. It is rather large however, and the window seals, as well as the exhaust connecting to the window are not tight - plan on using duct tape. It's also SUPER NOISY compared to my window units - you won't be able to hear the television.

It does a good job for a small room but after a month of use it is starting to make an odd noise.

i love my ac! It works great and cools off my place so well. I am beyond happy with my purchase. I live in a studio house and this is perfect to keep my house cooled. I would definitely recommend this product to others!
