I’m glad to finally own this movie. One of my favorites. Looks absolutely great in 4K!

Found this movie for $4. Great deal for a great movie.

I hadn't seen this in years but when I saw this on 4k blu ray AND on sale, I had to get my childhood favorite movie! Robin Williams is grown up with kids who are kidnapped by captain Hook. He goes back to Neverland to save his kids. So so so good.

When his young children are abducted by his old nemesis, Capt. Hook (Dustin Hoffman), middle-aged lawyer Peter Banning (Robin Williams) returns to his magical origins as Peter Pan. Peter must revisit a foggy past in which he abandoned Neverland for family life, leaving Tinkerbell (Julia Roberts) and the Lost Boys to fend for themselves. Given their bitterness toward Peter for growing up -- and their allegiance to their new leader, Rufio -- the old gang may not be happy to see him.

I haven’t seen this film since I was a kid. I still have the VHS, so when I saw that it was being released in 4K, I had to buy. The film is somehow even better than I remember it now that I’m an adult. I can understand some of the older jokes so that made it more fun haha. But the 4K quality is stunning. Hook’s well, uh, “hook” shines so much, and HDR is to thank for that. Everything shimmers, highlights look incredible. Colors are so vivid. It’s a beautiful film.

Movies like this are the reason I was shouting Bangerang while front flipping out of the back of a military troop carrier while I was in the service. They taught me that just because you're age says you're not a kid anymore, it doesnt mean you have to stop being one. As well as giving us yet another way to remember the Greatness that IS Robin Williams and enjoy for generations to come.

Continue the adventures with Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee with their accompanying surly and comically entertaining band of pirates. This 4K Ultra HD High Dynamic Range Blu-ray video with Sharper, Brighter and More Vivid Color will 'blow your socks off' matey! And equally important, at Best Buy's reasonable pricing!

One of the best additions to the classic Peter Pan movie done by disney while this one isn't done by disney this 4k version with Robin Williams in it is a classic. Some may not like this but I find the fun and silly nature of this movie to be a great reminder of the talent that Robin Williams was.

I picked this up during an online promo, along with the Christine 4K Blu-Ray, right before Christmas and couldn't be happier. The 4K picture looks great and the audio is crisp. My family and I had a blast watching this entertaining throwback over the holidays.

Must have watched this movie a hundred times as a kid. Still holds up as an adult. Very impressed with the 4K upgrade. Seems to be hit and miss. I have some 4Ks that look better on regular 1080p Blu-Ray. Not the case here. 4K version looks great on 4K TV.

Good quality. Looks good. Best version of peter pan by far.

Hook is presented on 4K UHD courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment with a 2160p transfer in 2.40:1. Take a deep breath when the Tri Star logo appears, because it looks pretty rough, with a kind of swarm like, yellowish grainfield, but once the film starts things improve materially. There are still some fairly wide variances in grain resolution, not necessarily linked to the film's many opticals, but overall things resolve really beautifully, with a natural, organic appearance that provides a nice texture and depth. A few kind of odd looking moments crop up every now and again, as in the brief shot of the Pan Am jet circa 6:10, where grain suddenly spikes pretty dramatically. Detail levels are noticeably improved throughout the presentation, especially in close-ups. Two in particular are almost astounding in the new levels of detail, and they both feature faces — the first is when Peter awakens in the pirate hideaway and his eye is seen through a tear in some fabric, and later in the film there's a kind of "mirroring" sequence featuring an immense close-up of Hook's face (and mustache), with both of these moments offering really impressive levels of fine detail.

I the blu ray version of the movie and got the 4K and you can tell they took there time remastering this movie the colors are vibrant and the overall picture quality is way better then the original blu ray

It's a lot of fun to watch - over two hours of thrills, spills, elaborate sets and special effects, all tied together by a pleasingly varied (and lighter than usual) musical score by John Williams.

This is my second favorite Robin Williams movie (Mrs. Doubtfire being the first). Great performance by him, Dustin Hoffman, and the entire cast really. Awesome portrayal of Peter Pan vs. Captain Hook.

It’s grest to be able to watch some of the great older movies in the new 4K firmat. Thus firmat adds so much picture and sound quality that it makes it like watching for the first time.

I love this movie. Great movie from my childhood I highly recommend it for anybody who is a peter pan/Robin Williams fan. Dustin Hoffman is probably the best hook ever

This movie brings the original film to a modern day setting with great acting, directing, and imagination (of course). This is worthy of collecting as a classic.

By far the best way to watch Hook on the small screen. I doubt a superior copy will ever be made so I highy suggest buying this one if you were waiting.
