I have a similar vacuum, same brand and it's been going strong for about 15 years. The hose needed replacing and the cord would not return but the motor was going strong. Saw this on sale and took a chance it would be a nice replacement. It was. Much quieter than the old one and so much lighter. Only negative is there is no onboard carriage for all the attachments. Not a deal breaker though.

This is a quiet and relatively light canister vacuum that has plenty of suction. One quirk is that the vacuum handle does not stand on its own as it has an angle at the brush end

I was replacing my 20 year old Wind Tunnel vac. Hope this one does as good a job. Don't know if it will last that long, because it is on the rather lightweight side. Time will tell. My only complaint is the cost of the HEPA bags. Would like to see the price come down on them. Overall, I have been very happy with the cleaning performance of the Hoover Envy Hush. Also, it is very quiet, as advertised.

Initial use experience... good attachments, and power options includes performance and adaptability to surfaces...for example good on bare wood floors and on picking up cat hair from floor or rugs...relatively quiet....so far so good. ....

It has a lot of power and cleans carpet and tile well. I like it.

Wanted a canister vacuum after replacing all carpeting will hardwood floors. I have had for 2 months. Works well but dust tool does not attach.

Met all of our expectations, ordered a new rug that required a difffernet type of vacuum than what we had. Very happy with our purchase.

It is a very good vacuum. Like the light weight and telescopic hose(metal part).

The canister vacuums are so much easier to use. They go under places that the uprights can’t. The only complaint is the hose. It can twist easily and affects the airflow. Overall am very happy with this vacuum

Excellent vacuum - If you don't like it- then you have an issue with awesome vacuums at a good price. I'd buy it again.

Have only used a few times, but so far, so good. It is lightweight and does the job that was expected.

The packaging was so lousy that it came with a cracked off piece of plastic. I didn’t return it since it was still usable. I have only used it a couple of times, but now the cord does not fully retract.

After enduring a sub-par vacuum for a year or so, I finally decided to search out a new one. I couldn't be happier. This vacuum is VERY quiet (especially relative to my last one), it has great suction power and adjustable settings for carpet/rugs and hardwood floors. It is also great at those junctions between the two. The handle makes vacuuming easier, too. I haven't used any of the attachments yet, but I'm sure they're great, too. Believe the other reviews, this one is a keeper! I'm going to tell all my friends looking for a new vacuum to get this one.
