Needed a new vacuum when moving into an apartment. This is a great vacuum, small and easy to store. Tools and vacuum are very functional and suction is outstanding. Easy to use and very light to handle. Easy to empty out and no bags needed

This vacuum gives Dyson vacuum owners a run for their money.It makes vacuuming effortless and fun, yet has the same suction power and costs comparatively less than some high end brands. A more expensive model does not necessarily translate to a better product. Hoover - maintaining a stellar reputation and consistently turning out quality products!

What a great vacuum! My other old vacuum died and I needed to get a new one, I had looked at the vacuums without bags and was always curious about them, so when I tried this vacuum in the store, I couldn't believe the length of the cord, the great suction it had as I vacuumed a couple isles (I'm sure that made the cleaning people happy) and how quiet it was. The attachments are right on the vacuum, my old one didn't have that feature and I have to say, it's nice that everything that belongs with the vacuum is ON the vacuum, no more bags to store or attachments to take up space in my closet, this is a great feature. Our family was completely amazed at the amount of hair it picked up and how low the vacuum gets to the floor, no more moving tables, it totally extends to the floor, another perk that my old vacuum didn't have. The vacuum was on sale and it was a great price so I jumped on it. Took it home, out of the box and used it immediately. Our house had not been cleaned in a month because the old vacuum died and we had been comparing models. I own a Hoover Stick vacuum for the tile floor and have had it for over 20 years, so I was surprised I went back to Hoover since the old vacuum was another brand. My stick vacuum has lasted that long as I feel that this new one will be around just the same. I'm happy to know that I will have this for at least 20 years. It's light, quiet, picks up everything and it's awesome to not have to deal with bags anymore. This was definitely worth the money, time and research. Even my 15 year old daughter loves to vacuum, and hated to before, so there are perks all around. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone.

Pros: Relatively small, light, and powerful, with a very long power cord. Easy to clean underneath the furniture. Cons: Took some time to figure out how to switch the power brash on and how to clean the tank. Did not read the instructions :-) Other thoughts: The old Hoover vacuum was half the price of this one 5 years ago and did great job.

I purchased this vacuum after having other cheap brands do a bad job of cleaning. The Hoover is much quieter, lighter to navigate and does a nice cleaning job. The adjustable handle makes it easy to use and using no bags is a nice bonus being all my other vacuums used expensive bags. It is easy to empty the dirt bin and clean the filters. It does a nice job of cleaning my carpets and does nice edge cleaning as well. The extra long detachable hose used with the handle makes it easy to clean high places. This Hoover was easy to set up right out of the box. It cleans bare floors easily being you can turn off the carpet brush roller with the simple push of a switch. The construction quality is mainly plastic, but it does seem to be pretty durable. I would recommend this cleaner to anyone who is tired of noisy, hard to push vacuums that do not clean well. This one is worth the price and does a nice job overall.

This is a great little vacuum for a small apartment. We used it to vacuum up dead pine needles from our Christmas tree (a task that has proven problematic with other vacuums) and it did a fantastic job. Great suction, easy to empty, convenient tools, clever design, lightweight and small enough that it doesn't take up much of our limited storage space. It was a fantastic value at Best Buy; we couldn't be happier with our purchase.

So far I am very impressed. A friend purchased one and had to return within 10 days because some of the plastic broke. No problems with mine. Likes: Lightweight, very quiet, easy to maneuver, lots of suction, easy to clean, no expensive filters to buy, the brushes rotate very fast, long cord. Dislikes: I wish the cleaning surface were a bit wider. The attachments don't stay affixed to the unit very well when you are using the vacuum without the attachments. I just take them off and set them aside. It's more of a nuisance than a problem. If this unit stands the test of time (only had it a month or so now), I will be extremely happy.

It’s my first Hoover vacuum and purchased it for $149 (taxes & 4 yr warranty included). So far I’m happy with most of its features; though they could be better, as with the attachment accessories. Real good suction power and lightweight compared to other full-sized vacuums. Only downfall, in my opinion: having to disassemble the bottom cover (6 screws) in order to access the brushroll for cleaning and having to disconnect the suction hose from the base every time I use an attachment (it’s rather annoying having to bend over every time I need to use an attachment rather than having a switch for this). But overall, I can say I’m happy with the vacuum.

Great vacuum. Perfect for an apartment. The handle collapses down or extends. Narrow enough to fit in tighter spaces but not too small if you are trying to cover larger areas. Suction is awesome. I like that the button to disengage the brush roller is up high instead of down low at the base of the vacuum. Super easy to maintain and clean. The only negative because nothing is perfect is that there is no assisted propulsion when you are pushing the vacuum. This is only a problem for my very petite wife. We used to have a large commercial Hoover that had assisted propulsion. Still she loves the new vac and she says it is the best.

Started using the vacuum the same day I got it. You can see the dirt and dust my old vacuum cleaner couldn't pick up. Had it for a couple months now and absolutely no problems with it. When researching this vacuum I read the bad reviews on it breaking apart or motor stopped working and I haven't experienced any of that. Even if I did Hoover has a good customer service from what I've dealt with previous other products I've had. The vacuum is also light to carry up and down the stairs. Using the attachments is easy.

If you live in a small apartment, like me, then you will like this vacuum. If you live in a large house, this will not do it for you. I like the size, as I can hide it in my closet. It works pretty good on the carpet, but its not great. The price was good, and I mail ordered it so it would be delivered to my high rise. I would recommend it for a small apartment with carpet.

Vacuum was 50% off, making it a great deal. Easy to assemble, light, great cleaning power and easy to dump the dirt. Lighter than my Eureka Pro so may take some getting used to, but overall pleased. Also, my sales clerk was incredibly helpful.

This vacuum is excellent. Very easy to assemble and has excellent suction. It's very lightweight and easy to maneuver around corners. It also drops down flat to go under low tables. It's roller width is narrow enough that you can vacuum into small spaces. The handle drops down so it doesn't take up very much storage space. Great price and I bought the 4 year warranty replacement plan for $20 just in case. Highly recommend!!!

This is the second vacuum cleaner we have purchased in the last 2 years. Really didn't like the other one we bought. Paid the same price for this one and like it much better! Suction is fantastic! Nice to have on-board attachments! Lightweight for ease in carrying up and down stairs. Adjustable handle height (for those of us who are vertically challenged!). Long electrical cord allows for plugging into one outlet to vacuum most of the main level of our house. Easy to empty the dust canister. Nice to have the power button, and the brush-roll button near the handle -- hand-operated rather than foot-operated. So far the only negative that I have discovered is that the crevice tool and furniture brush fall off the vacuum cleaner during use. I really like this vacuum cleaner!!

This is a pretty decent machine. It's lightweight with a lot of tools and attachments. When you're using the hoses, the rug brush turns off, so it's not just whirring and doing nothing. It is loud, but very strong. It tends to really grab the thin carpets. It's made for hard surface floors and thin carpets for the most part.

All the reviews said it is lig, and it is. It cleans well. It flattens out well and can get under furniture very well. Using the attachments is a bit of a pain. The dust bin is very small - need to empty it too often. Still like it though!

The vacuum is definitely light as a feather, so you don't have to worry about it being to heavy for the kids chores. It has great suction and very simple to use and clean. I wish it came with better directions on how to use the handheld tools.
