I have had several Hoover vacuums in the past with very good results. This one seems no different. It is easy to operate. There is an extension hose available that works better when using the attachments. My advice is to purchase that, if you can find it.

Not bad performance for the money but will never be mistaken for an Electrolux.

Good value, easy assembly. The only thing wrong was it did not come with all the tools in the box that were to be included. I called Hoover and they said they were n longer include.

I bought this model because I had owned its predecessor, which lasted about 25 years before giving up the ghost. An appliance that lasts THAT long these days is a rarity and extremely desirable for anyone who's cost-conscious.

This is the same as the vacuum I replaced. I had it well over 20 years. The only reason I had to get a new one is the part was no longer available. Great vacuum!!

I have owned Hoover uprights for over 40 years. This. Vac is self propelled which is a great feature and hard to find in other brands. It also has a lot of suction power. Great price for all of the features

I've owned this vacuum in the past and it is a great vacuum. Sadly I had to return because on the new line of "soft" carpet it doesn't work well.

This vacuum is great, the powered tool is the strongest I've ever seen but gentle on the furniture fabric.

I've owned several Hoovers before, but this one is by far the best and Best Buy has it marked at a fair market value!

What has happened to power assist vacuums? This is one of the only models that I have found that is power assist. Even the light space age models with great suction need help. Is good for 2 or 3 years I hope.

This vacuum can't be beaten for carpet cleaning. Compared to the other vacuum's I've owned, this one excels. Hoover's claims about its WindTunnel technology are true. It does an excellent job restoring the nap and grooming the carpet and leaves it looking fresh and clean. It also has strong suction and great airflow. In fact, the suction is so strong with the accessory hose that the hose will collapse on itself when a cleaning tool is attached. The pet hair tool works well, though the hose could be longer. The vacuum is a little loud, but what vacuum isn't? The self-propel feature is very handy and takes a lot of effort out of cleaning. However, Hoover could make it operate a little more smoothly. The vacuum can easily get away from you until you learn how to maneuver it and take the best advantage of the self-propel feature. Overall, I would rate this vacuum highly, especially if you're looking for a vacuum that cleans carpet extremely well.

I've actually had this vacuum for several years now. And I LOVE it. We We also have a bagless Hoover without the self-propelled feature; my husband loves that model but since I'm the one who has to empty the container, I really prefer the bagged Hoover. I don't like to vacuum, but the self-propelled feature has made vacuuming so much easier that I don't mind it now. The powered hand tool even has me vacuuming the carpeted stairs --- something I often did not do because it was either difficult or just using a standard tool was not very effective. The powered hand tool really helps get up debris that otherwise would be missed. As I said, I've actually had this model for years and have been totally happy with it. I was concerned that the self-propelled feature might break, but so far no problem. The disposable bags are easy to find so it's never been a problem when I need to stock up on them.

This is our fourth Hoover. We had gotten away from the model that had been powered frontward and backward. It was getting a little harder for my wife to use. I had taken over and sometimes felt just a little more tired at the end of the job. The new model really does most of the work. Also has a nice long cord. Gets the edges near the baseboard better than the older models. Can be lowered until it is so flat it gets under the coffee table in the living room with no problem. Bags are reasonably priced and Hoover gives discounts on bags on their web-site. Nice sale price at Best Buy. Nice pickup service at our local Best Buy store. c bean

This Hoover WindTunnel Anniversary Edition Self-Propelled HEPA Upright Vacuum - Blue works great. Took me a while to get used to the self propelled but now I love it. The mini vacuum like attachment has lots of power and picked up everything. I also love that there is a red light that tells you if where you are vacuuming is dirty and once it is clean it turns green awesome feature.

Best type of vacuum to own; self-propelled is the only way to go! The suction is fantastic even when the bag is almost full. I love this one & would never own a bagless vacuum of any brand again.
