A: Hi...I took home the following models recently and settled on the Hoover WindTunnel. Hope this helps...I've had my Kenmore vacuum for 8 years and it had worked like a dream. Gave out at the end of September, so had to shop for a replacement. First i tried Kenmore Elite 10335 CrossoverUltra™ Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner- Silver/ Cherry - zero suction. didn't pick up anything off of my area rug at all -- had to run over the same section about 8 times to get anything lifted, so I returned. Next I tried the 31150 Bagged Upright Vacuum Cleaner - Silver, which also had absolutely no suction. Rolled right over any pet hair on my area rug. Useless. So returned that as well. Picked up the Hoover WindTunnel and it works like a dream. Suctions everything in sight, well made, plus Best Buy price matched when I found a lower price at another retailer.

Q: how to tighten the belt so it will turn the brush?
