This vacuum really sucks. This is my second WindTunnel vacuum and my third Hoover vacuum cleaner. I have never owned any other brand. I bought my first hoover in 1985 and had that 16 years until 2001. That is just about the time when hoover came out with their WindTunnel technology. I bought my first Hoover WindTunnel vacuum. This last vacuum lasted me 14 years. I can't wait to see how long this one last. Plus it has an amazing 3 year warranty. If they are going to stand behind their product for 3 years INCLUDING PARTS AND LABOR that tells you that they make a reliable product. And I didn't even need their warranty because both my vacuums lasted way past their warranty period. The only thing I ever replaced was 2 belts in 14 years.

This is my third Hoover Wind Tunnel. The first one we gave away to our daughter, and the second just died (after about 15 years) mostly due to some stupidity on my part. This new one has stronger suction and is more refined than the last one, but isn't built of as heavy plastic. We have deep pile wall to wall carpeting and it cleans far and away better than the last one. The self propelled feature is much better too, it really is quite effortless to move back and forth. I have to confess that i am not a fan of bagless vacuums, having gotten rid of a Dyson after a year or two that cost twice what the Hoover does. We have people with allergies in the house, and when you dump the container you end up breathing all the dust you just cleaned up. Stupid. Give me the Hoover with a bag every time. My only complaint is that it is rather noisy and quite heavy, so if you have to move it between floors it may not be for you.

This vacuum does it all, even self propelled. Does a great job cleaning carpeting or hardwood flooring. The self propel feature makes it easy to push and pull. Long power cord. Hand tools attach to the machine and are easily accessible. We have long haired pets and it does a great job of cleaning up all the fur on our smooth surface flooring, carpeting and area rugs. Easy to use on stairs with the hand tool.

Comes with all the bells and whistles. It is powerful, but also heavy and loud as reviews stated, and the top compartment that holds one of the brushes is very loose so that brush I simply leave off or tape to sit still. Would recommend if you need to vacuum large areas on one floor, but would be reluctant to carry this between floors often. I absolutely required a HEPA filtered bagged vacuum to not spread dust and dirt in the air when emptying a canister and this one delivers

I am so appreciative of this self propelled vac. I don't know why all upright vac.s aren't self propelled. Why would you want to wreck your back when you can let the self propelled vac. do most of the work for you? All vac.s should be self propelled. I love, love it. Pleast keep making self propelled upright vac.s. It's GREAT!!!!!! Also, all the accessories are great also. Gives me the ability to thoroughly clean everything with ease.

I had this vacuum in silver for 11 years when it finally stopped working properly, probably could be fixed, but I don't have the time to troubleshoot. I refused to buy a vacuum other than this one. It cleans wonderfully, attachments are fantastic and I love love love that it isn't bagless. I hate bagless dust clouds. Powerful and easily maneuvered. Only negative is it's loud. I deal because the rest is great.

We replaced our 15 to 20-year-old Hoover Wind Tunnel with the Anniversary Model because we had long service with few problems from the first. The Anniversary Model is even better. I like the four choices for size of carpeting pile. The new vacuum works beautifully on our thick new carpeting, and works better on a room-size rug that the old one did.

We are very happy with our new vacuum. We moved into a house where the carpet was matted down and our old vacuum just wasn't doing anything anymore even after replacing beater bar and belts. The new vacuum brought up the fibers which allowed me to do a better job steam cleaning with our Bissell carpet cleaner. Only one gripe we have on this vacuum and it happened with our old one is the upholstery tool falls out of the slot they have carved into the handle for it. Rather annoying but we don't use this attachment that much anyways since our furniture is leather. You would think that after 10 years they could have come up with something that would work.

Working great. A little clumsy and heavy at first trying to get used to the self propel feature, but after a little practice, no problems. Highly recommend for men and strong women. Presently using to vac over all hardwood floors and area rugs.

This is my second Hoover Wind Tunnel Self Propelled Vacuum that I have purchased over the past 8 years. You can't beat them. The only thing I have had to do is replace the vacuum bags. The self propelled feature is so nice. It has good suction and goes from carpet to hardwood floors with no problem. The only reason I had to get a new one is that we needed a vacuum for our cabin.

Recently bought this vacuum and I must say that this has been the best vacuum that I have ever used. First, very easy to assemple Second, the flow was smoothly. I don't have to push as much when cleaning my carpets. Third, the sensor is awesome. I like how the green light would go to red when heavy particles were around. Then back to green once it was fully clean. Fourth, I like how the bag traps most of the dust. I don't have to worry about breathing dirt/dust in.

Have been using this vacuum for a month, does a great job, carpet is fluffier, self propelled is a back saver. Ordered in store and the vacuum was on clearance. Had a Hoover Wind Tunnel years ago, this one is not made as well, but still works great.

Although this vacuum is heavy, it has a ton of suction and cleans extremely well. I love the green and green light to indicate dirt on your carpets and rugs. We own one of these and now my daughter has one at her house. Definitely a good product!

The vacuum cleaner I purchased was all it was claimed to be. It works well and is easy to run. I also like how clean my floors are and how easy it is to empty the bags.

We had to search for a "bagged" vacuum, not many choices. Our old Hoover bag vacuum worked for over 40 years. This one works great with a slight high pitched motor noise. We do miss having a retractable cord, but overall a great vacuum in it's price range!
