    I just got a the New Nintendo DSXL (not just new as in new "fresh out-of-the-case", mind you), and it fits in this case perfectly. It's a harder case that, I feel, keeps its shape and protects your system a little more than some of the other cases available. There's also an elastic band on the inside that hold the system in place. The band causes you to take a little more time when putting your DS inside, but it works well. If you don't put your DS under the band, the case works fine but I've noticed your system won't fit in as snugly as it would if you used the band. Overall, it's a great case and I feel like it will protect my DS as well as hold a few games.

    Works great, new 3DS fits very snug in it and well even with a flexi-protector over my 3DS. Its a pretty hard protective covering. and not too large that you can fit the whole thing in some of your bigger pockets.

    A very compact and capable case. However, with no storage for a charger, headphones, etc and space for only 6 cartridges (in addition to the one in the back of the 3DS), you may want to consider something like the Smatree N100 as an alternative.
