Was considering buying the Special Edition Pikachu "New 3DS XL" when I came across this. The semi-soft outer case is pretty lightweight and provides good protection and cute aesthetics, and the inner decals are pretty easy to put on too. The Pikachu 6x Cartridge Case and Pikachu Cloth are added bonuses. The only drawback is before the case fully conforms to an actual 3DS the upper casing may occasionally press the LR buttons for a few days which sets off the screenshot. Once it fits though it's​ fine. Quite decent for a less than $20 price tag.

The case was very easy to install on my sons Nintendo 3DS but the product itself is far more transparent than advertised on the packaging or online pictures. My sons Nintendo 3DS is red and when the case went on it appears to look orange (red devise, yellow case) opposed to the bright yellow of Pikachu as advertised.

I bought this item for my son who got a Nintendo for Christmas. He loves the case. It is flexible and most importantly very protective. It prevents scratsches from occurring and does not create scratches on the Nintendo because it is TPU plastic. Hard covers can tend to scratch electronics. However, this one is great. Well money spent.

Fits great and looks good too. Wish it was of a different material though.

This is just like the Gold Pikachu case, but this comes with game case and cleaning cloth and also the sticker. Makes your new 3ds XL really look different. Great gift for someone who loves Pikachu! It snaps easily and fits snug. It helps protect from scratch (not for the screen) with pretty design.

This product Pikachu Pack Starter Kit was a really great starter to the collection series and very reasonably priced. My son loved it and and his friends thought it was cool too.

Bought this for my son who has a black 3DS XL. He loves it and it looks great so no complaints. Just be aware that the outer shell is transparent with a yellow tint, so the actual color of the 3DS will affect how it looks. The inside is all stickers, so it looks just like in the pictures.

This is not solid yellow, so when we placed on my son's red 3DS, it is a bit more orange than bright yellow. He was a little dissapointed at first, but still thought it was cool. Just be aware it is not solid color.

This actually looks really nice when attached to a 3ds. The fit and finish are good and you have access to the ports on the device.

My 18 year old granddaughter wanted this for Christmas. I guess your never to old for fun.
