I love the Split Pad Pro; I got this one for my Switch OLED. It helps balance the weight of the Switch so it isn't uncomfortable to hold. It also feels sturdy enough that I'm not concerned about it breaking like the joy-cons.

I bought this to relieve some tension on my hands and wrists and it has worked really well. I can pretty much play for hours without any hand or wrist fatigue and it feels like a PlayStation or Xbox controller. Worth the money!

Doesnt have rumble or motion sensing, and can't use one side as its owen controller. BUT it's a good value, its light and much more comfortable to hold in handheld mode than regular joycons. Having the programmable back buttons and turbi mode is a nice plus.

Pros:
-Ergonomic
-Buttons feels like a normal controller
-Dock compatible
-Officially Licensed by Nintendo
Cons
-Missing features like Rumble, Gyroscope, NFC
-A little pricey for what it offers
-Makes the Switch a little bit wider in handheld mode (kinda awkward for me)
Would’ve been a perfect alternative to joycons if it included more features. But then, Nintendo would’ve not sold any more joycons if that’s the case.

Ok… I like the grip it feels good and comfy but in terms of quality I’m not to impressed. It felt cheaply made and just a little expensive considering it doesn’t have a battery in either con. Knowing it’s a good replacement I’d still recommend, just worried it might not last long

A great way to handheld. It's like im holding an xb controller. Does it have the bells and whistles? No, but it says it doesn't have those things. So don't be shocked. But it has comfort and familiarity. I also grabbed it on sale, so bonus.
Fyi, it doesn't need charging, runs off the switch. It doesn't wake up the switch.

At first it felt to big but after a few hours it felt right like you have a controller in your hands, you can also customize the buttons on the back of it. I recommend this adapter

Definitely worth the purchase. Stock joycons on the Switch are made children's hands and although they work well enough for most games, the larger grip area and spacing between trigger/bumper buttons on top is much more comfortable. The added customizable rear buttons is an added bonus and are easy to reprogram depending on which game your playing.

I am an adult gamer and these are much easier to hold onto than the joycons. My fingers do not feel cramped after playing for a long time.
I have had these for 6 weeks and have had no problems.

The Hori Spilt Pad Pro controller is a great alternative to the joy con or even for the Nintendo Pro controller. The controller feels and looks great. The only issue with them is that they don't have rumble or their own battery meaning they must be connected to a switch at all times to work. Otherwise these are great controllers!

I bought these for an upcoming cruise, knowing I wouldn't be able to play my switch docked. This was exactly what I needed, the Hori controllers had a nice heft to them and felt much better playing handheld than the standard joycons.

This is a great accessory to have for your Switch, especially if you play on the go or mobile and the original controllers cramp your hands since they're too small, which they are. This feels like a normal size controller in your hands. Some say it may be bulky but its perfect for play on the road or sitting on the couch. Highly recommended!!

I just got the new Nintendo Switch OLED model - but after playing for an hour ir more my hands severely cramp. I have large hands and this gripad makes playing in handheld mode a dream for people with larger hands. I also picked up a hardcase that fits the system with these on so it's perfect for playing on the go!

I bought these replacement controllers for my granddaughter and they are great. She loves them. The controllers that come with the nintendo switch went haywire and were moving on there own. These controllers work great and are a lot cheaper than new nintendo switch controllers which l understand go haywire also. I absolutely recommend these!

I really like this accessory. Right now im playing more handheld mode than dock mode and it works much better than regular joycon... If you dont want to get tired quickly, its better to buy one of these. Completely recommend.

They are great for my.bogger hands. And they haven't had any stick drift since buying them. Its also no big deal that they have to be connected to use because I never take the joycons off

When you get these, the first thing you'll think is where have these BEEN all your life! Handheld mode on the Switch is so much more comfortable and doable with this accessory, and I'm actually able to win just as much in handheld mode as I am when docked and able to use my 8bitdo controller.
