Enjoyed the story line and tying in relationships with in-laws. The kids loved the comedy and their laughter was heart warming.

Loved it! Sandler and crew pulled off a sequel that was JUST AS GOOD as the first HT. Everything is going GREAT! The Hotel has never been more happy Aaaaand,.with the arrival of a little bundle of joy for Grandrac to fawn over just puts the Hotel into high gear. Everyone wants to see this new Grandson of the Prince of darkness. Will the new bambino take after Mom...Mr Pop? Vampire? Maybe. HUMAN!? Maybe ....well....we don't know yet. But no matter, fun and celebrating and Ghosties Goulies, creepies, crawlies, ALL bask in the happiness of the joy present in the huge hotel. All the old patrons are there. Even humans! And they get into the swing of things too! Those parts are SERIOUSLY funny..But here's the rub...no matter how much coaching and lovingly spooky stuff Drac tries to teach his new Grandson in order for the little guy to grow up to be a fine... "monster" or a "creature of the night" but no matter what Grandrac does, it's no use. So... Mavy wants to raise the baby as ...ack!...HUMAN!!?? So the desperation is ratcheted up a few turns as Grandrac takes some drastic measures. I loved it!! There is a star studded cast doing the voice work. I think it's the best American animation that's come out in a while.

This movie was a good follow up to the first one. Keeps the nephew and wife busy when I am at work.

This is the 2nd movie. The hotel is finally opened to monsters and humans alike and everyone seems to be happy. Dennis, the half -vampire, half- human son of Mavis and Johnny is growing up under the watchful eye of his grandpa, "Vampa" Drac. While Drac is worried that Dennis has yet to show his vampire side, Mavis is worried that Dennis is too far removed from his human side. Seizing the chance to visit her human in-laws to see if they want to move there, Mavis and Johnny embarks into a small journey into the human world to Mavis' delight. Drac on his end seizes his chance to develop Dennis's vampire side under the pretense of babysitting him at the hotel. Of course, it becomes a fun and scary adventure for both Mavis and Johnny as well as Drac, Dennis and the clicque. The movie is as fun and adventures filled as the first movie, painting a hilarious image of the human and vampire world both.... Which side will Dennis chose? This movie is great because under all the fun and adventure it also has a good moral : it shows a blended family with two complete different cultures who will eventually learn not only how to accept but also embrace and live with differences without judging or compromising the other one.

This is the 2nd of 3 Hotel Transylvania movies and is my grandson and granddaughter favorite. Great buy!
