Okay, I have a 3 yr old who watches the same movies over and over again. The first Hotel Transylvania is one of the VERY few that I am not sick of! It is still funny to me. We watched this new one last night and it ranks right up there with the first. My son LOVES it (he actually wanted to watch it again right afterwards) and more importantly my wife and I loved it. It is very funny and has enough "hidden humor" to keep us giggling as well.

This was a fantastic buy for the family especially for fans of Adam Sandlers softer side and Universal monster fans! My wife and kids stayed entertained by the love story centering around Draculas daughter and her human husband as well as the birth and childhood of their first born. Great action and surprises kept me interested and a nice little surprise that was telegraphed played out well. I want to see a third movie to this series that deals with Dennis and Winni set as young adults.

Hotel Transylvania 2 picks up as Johnny and Mavis begin a family of their own. All of our favorite characters return, and some new ones emerge (enter Dennis!). There are some pretty humorous scenes here (a revival of the infamous "I don't say bleh, bleh, bleh" exchange, and some semi-realistic-but-funny pregnancy references). Mavis gets to explore more outside Hotel/Castle walls, and Drac faces off with his own unaccepting father (Mel Books).

I loved the original Hotel Transylvania and when I saw this I think I liked it even more. It probably doesn't hurt that I am father to a 4 year old boy. We both love watching it, my son pretends to be Dennis and he makes me be Drac. His favorite part is the "blah, blah, blah" scene which also gives me a chuckle but I enjoy any scene with Blobby. If you have any kids or no kids, I think this movie has a good story and lots of genuine laughs.

My two boys loved the first Hotel Transylvania so it was a no brainier for us to both go to the theatre to see this and bring it home for our in home theatre. It is an Adam Sandler movie and voiced by a lot of SNL and buddies of his from other movies. Lots of inside jokes for the adults and cute funniness for the kids. We still say "I don't say blah blah blah." Great voice acting, great animation and just fun monster madness.

I absolutely LOVE this series of movies (okay, there are only 2 at the moment with a third on the way), and decided to pick up theblu-ray to add to my collection. Loved the movie still, only complaint is that some studios force you into the "ultraViolet" streaming garbage.... You have to stream the digital movie - you cna't download it to a device, but otherwise a great DVD!

I greatly enjoyed watching Hotel Transylvania when it first came out on DVD. I was very surprised that the cartoon was greatly pointed toward an adult audience, although younger people would also enjoy it. Well, Hotel Transylvania 2 is even better than the original. Adam Sandler and his gang are hilarious. The story is funny and the characters react accordingly. A true laugh fest from beginning to end!

Adam Sandler and crew did it again. From Grandma Linda being spit on by Dracula, to Dracula doing the "Pouty Bat Face" and breakdancing, this movie is a trip. Even the jokes about the outfit Jonathan wore to the party was really funny. If you've seen part one, then you really need to see part two, because just when you think it can't get any funnier, it actually does. ...Grandma Linda is a trip.

I'm a huge fan of the first Hotel Transylvania. When I saw the trailer for a second one, I wasn't really anticipating a whole lot or my reaction to be on the same level as the first film. After buying this when it came out, for my kids, I sat and watched it with them and found out I was wrong for having the initial reaction. The movie was pretty awesome! It was funny, held my attention, and I found myself laughing right along with my kids. While I still think the first film is a little bit better, I do like this one as well. You'll be pleasently surprised.

Adam Sandler is back at it again .... if you liked the first Hotel Transylvania then this is a must have for your collection. Silly entertainment for kids and packed full of adult humor that they won't understand until they're older. I don't want to give away any spoilers here, but if you've ever had a kid of your own you will be able to relate to and laugh at this entire movie.

A lot of people don't like movies that Adam Sandler has a part in but I don't know how anyone could not like this movie or its predecessor. I'm not the biggest fan of animated movies as many of them seem to worry more about the music than the story... movies like this and say the Madagascar series are entertaining to both kids and adults and make it easy to enjoy.

This second outing with the classic Universal monsters, is still fun, but the humor and heart are just a little less sharp than the original.

The gang is back for more . This time around Mavis is married with a human and has a baby son. Mavis wants to try living like a regular human for the sake of her son, Dennis while her husband and Dracula want her to continue living at the hotel. Dracula is also insisting that little Dennis is more vampire than human and, with the help of his monster posse, tries to get Dennis to vamp out. The laughs are bigger than the first one and we even get to meet Mavis' grandfather voiced by Mel Brooks. I definitely recommend it in 3D.
