What a fantastic, intense series that keeps you in suspense throughout. Blueray experience is awesome- DC looks great in HD blue ray. You don't need to follow DC politics closely to be brought in to this world. Second season is just as good and I can't wait for the 3rd

The House of Cards series is one of the best stories that has ever been put to CD. I am drawn in further each time I see another cut. It is all about politics but the story is really about human nature. Watch it and you will be like me and get the next set.

This show is amazing and very timely for the present as we are closing in on our presidential election and it is just great to be able to watch a show of this caliber. Superb acting. Kevin Spacey keeps getting better. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Great tv series with Kevin Spacey. If you love political intrigue with unethical conduct and some violence to include murder, this is a must see series for you! It will show manipulation and will aid you on how to see wise guys at work!!

This is the best series that I have seen since The Sopranos. It will keep you interested and the episodes will fly by way to quickly. I believe House of Cards is an eye opening experience on what Washington and our government 'might' be like.

I am totally hooked on this series and can't wait for Season 2 to go on sale. Kevin Spacey has always been one of my favorite actors and he is perfect in this role. If you have any interest in politics, you won't be able to stop watching.

House of Cards is one of the best shows I've ever seen. Kevin Spacey is excellent. The story is riveting and keeps the viewer engaged. This is the kind of show that you could end up watching in a weekend because you just can't stop.

This DVD set is fantastic for camping in an RV. The quality is perfect and the storyline is fantastic. I recommend this DVD to anyone traveling in an RV and wanting something to keep their interest going for the trip.

Netflix is giving cable great competition with this well crafted drama series. An twisting and action packed plot, great cast of actors and top notch cinematography all combine to make this set a DVD steal at this price!

House of Cards provides a hopefully "over the top" look at politics inside our federal government. After a few episodes, it became apparent why Americans are deeply disturbed by the career politicians that run our country. I can understand the popularity of the series as it feeds the distrust of government that is driving the current election process.

I do not get Netflix, but heard this was an excellent series. I watched this over a weekend and really enjoyed it. Great characters, good and bad! I will definitely be getting the second season son.

I absolutely love this show and I was glad that I was able to get this on DVD. It is definitely worth the purchase and time to watch it, especially if you are a Kevin Spacey or Robin Wright fan.

I bought seasons one and two after seeing a few episodes while visiting my parents. My dad is a big fan and now so are we. Still watching season one. These people are ruthless!

awesome show! it is scary to think that in real life there is some truth to the way these politicians works. Most are total scum bags and will stop at nothing to get what they want.

Both the first and second seasons were addictive. Great acting and action. Can't wait for the next season. Be sure the kids are not around when viewing. Some scenes are close to X-rated.

Overall this is an entertaining first season - maybe a little less great than I'd heard from some friends, but still held my attention ... for the most part. There are one or two episodes that seem mainly designed to stretch the story out without really advancing any of the plot lines. I will take a wait and see attitude with regard to season 2.

This show is great for an viewer taking a break form reality programming. The characters are focus differently on every new episode. I enjoyed this series and going to get season 2 soon.

I had heard House of Cards was a great show, but it wasn't on cable and I don't do Netflix, so my alternative was to buy a season on DVD and give it a try. Well worth the price.
