Scooter didn’t work when opened. Was bought for my daughter for Christmas. She opened it and we plugged it in to charge and wouldn’t take a charge. Had to return

Extremely flimsy and hard to ride. Handle bar warbles anytime you break to slow down .

Scooter continually would cut off, returned and bought a different brand

Awful Electric scooter company. It kept shutting off the next day after it was delivered. I still don’t know why Best Buy carries these electric scooters.

My scooter is having issues since I bought it, and nobody is able to help, or the issues are not covered. Do not buy.

Broke within 3 moths... qhen yhe batteries die you there no notification and it randomly stops even if your hauling 15mph... sudden stop and you fly off..

Bought it as a gift for my nephew to ride around in college and it stopped working within 2 months. Then it finally broke. We just returned it. Not good for the price.

Not impressed - returned. Like some other reviews have indicated, there seems to be an issue with the bolts.. returned.

This scooter is awesome! I love how fast it goes and for the distance it can cover before needing a charge. The scooter itself is quick to accelerate and has a speedometer and battery level on the screen. There is a fast gear and a slower gear so you can manage the speed of the rider which is great for kids. The head light is very bright which makes night riding a lot of fun. I love the cruise control and how the scooters large wheels make the ride smooth. The scooter folds up nicely and locks to ease the mobility and storage of it. This is by far the best electric scooter I have ridden.

It alway come damaged and only ride it once and the fork became loose

I used it for five minutes and died returning it tomorrow. 10/16/20

Broke in a week, this is not worth buying at all.

Easy to assemble, folds down and not too heavy to carry. Folds down in seconds and easy to carry, folds up for use in moments. Simple controls and handled a pretty steep slope and only dropped to 10 mph from the maximum of 14 mph. Cruise control is a great feature and the lights work well..Love it!

Bought this scooter for my son. Secretly I've enjoyed it more than he has. I'm a 6'1" male at 206 pounds. This scooter on flat ground was able to get me to 15 mph. I've seen complaints about the folding mechanism but I don't fold mine so have no issues there. The motor is pretty powerful but I will say, at least with my weight, it struggles when you hit even a minor hill and needs for you to push along to get up that hill. The max weight rating is 264 lbs so I don't fault it too much for struggling on hills. If you need more power, buy a bigger model. It has a headlight and two different speed modes. The instructions are faulty in that it instructs you to hit the power button twice to enable high speed mode but its actually three times to enable it. Two taps turns the headlight on/off. Overall pretty satisfied with this purchase. If you're truly looking to use this for up/down hill rides, you should be < 200lbs. Otherwise, it's fun, speedy and a cool little toy for my son. I'm giving 4 stars only because I would expect the max rating to reflect the true performance of the scooter. If the scooter can't go up hills without help at 206lbs, then the max rating shouldn't be 264 unless you're planning on flat terrain for all of your riding.

We bought four scooters, 2 black, 2 white. One of the white ones came up with an E-1 (motor failure) error after one ride. We powered it up the day after they arrived and it failed. The Hover-1 website was down when I tried contacting them, but it back up three days later when I tried again. Customer service was easy, I had to disable the scooter and send pics as proof. They sent a replacement, without providing any other options, such as a refund. The replacement scooter is a hybrid black upper, white lower model. It doesn't have the same features as the disabled white scooter. I can't tell if it's newer or older parts. I simply know it's not the scooter I paid for. Thankfully, it works. Meanwhile, one of the black scooters has tire issues. Neither tube was set properly, both front and back nozzles protrude at bad angles - meaning tire was poorly installed. Both tires are now flat and won't inflate at all, therefore I can't test for leaks. I'm going to have to take this thing apart and screw with it when it has about 2 hours of riding on it over the month we've had it. What a pain. I ordered replacement tubes, but will try to repair the ones that came with the scooter. We wanted to ride these scooters, not repair and replace them.

The hover journey was a gift for my 11 year old. He is about 100 pounds and he had no trouble zipping around the neighborhood. No problems with hills and the scooter handled bumps and cracks in the pavement with no problems. If I had written this review, 5 weeks after buying the scooter, it would have been 4 if not 5 stars. However, at 9 weeks, the Scooter simply decided to not turn on. It had been plugged in and it showed as fully charged but it simply would not turn on and, therefore, did not work. We reached out to Hover and they sent us a new charging cord. This process took about 30 days. When I told them this did not fix it, they said I was out of the 90 day warranty and no longer entitled to Hover support. Thankfully, the product seller allowed a refund outside of the refund window to remedy the situation. I cannot rate a product higher than one star that breaks downs in 9 weeks of average use and then is not properly supported by Hover. I doubt I buy another Hover product.

Really like this scooter. It's quick. handles well and is a comfy ride. Just make sure to buy the extended warranty. The breaks seem to wear out quickly and/or the tensor goes bad or even the rotor warps.
