Could be a great product, if...

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought one and it broke almost immediately, the articulating joint in the center broke away from the plastic body and was rendered unusable. Best Buy was easy to work with to return it, the Second one we received has been great so far, but we do not let adults ride it even if they are under the 220lb threshold (trust me it can't handle more than 180lbs.) We bought a 3rd one as a christmas gift for a friend, it's inexpensive and relatively fun gift, her unit wouldn't even charge, and they had to return it for a credit. It sucks that these are so poorly made, even the slightest upgrades and a little more expensive price would be acceptable to the consumer. I hope you are listening China.

Great for Teens and Adults Alike

As well as my 18-year-old daughter. So far, it is their 1st hoverboard and has taken to it. They both were a bit apprehensive but got the hang of it. The instructions are easy to follow, and the charging time is short. It has been driven on the carpet, which is great for beginners, wood flooring, sidewalks and even streets.
