DO NOT BUY THIS! Horrible product. This is my second hover-1 hoverboard in a month. First one broke in days of having it. This one stopped working and charging within 3 weeks! Took it back to Best Buy and they said sorry BUT YOUR 2 WEEK window for returns is passed. You would have to spent $50 to get our membership for us to exchange it or give you a return. RIDICULOUS! BEST BUY is awful! This hoverboard is awful. I will NEVER buy from best buy again and will share my experience and their policies on returns to everyone I can.

This was a Christmas present for my daughter. Very disappointing to have her open it and it not work at all. It would turn on while plugged into the wall but would not charge. Also noticed the charging plug on the unit was stripped out and couldn’t be screwed in properly. Seems to be common with other reviewers.

That’s wonderful toy and I was scared about my niece and she learned the same day! Fantastic

This is really a fun machine. Was nervous getting on it for the first time, but that faded quickly. Only con was the weight capacity(220lbs).

Most awful purchase ever made from BestBuy. My son used this hover board once, it was a Christmas gift I got for him. We didn’t use it for a few months because of the weather. It turned on when we first opened it, and after once use has not worked again. Will not light up or turn on and all the warranties through Best Buy and the Hover-1 company are conveniently expired. There is no way that this $200 hoverboard should stop working after one use and after 30 days of initial use. I purchased it December 3, so he didn’t even open it for three weeks after purchase. This is a common issue now that I have looked into more troubleshooting. I am an elementary school teacher. This is not my wheelhouse. It’s very frustrating to waste money like this on something that will just be going in the garbage now.

Terrible... had to return it right after purchase. The charging port was faulty right out of the box. It would not stay mounted in place making charing and removing the charger difficult. It was like that new, can't imagine how it would be in a month or two. From their website and the amount of replacement parts available for "purchase", these are made to be disposable. The blue tooth speaker plays only out of one speaker and is very low and tough to hear when riding on the sidewalk. I do not recommend. Put a damper on a 8 year olds Christmas!!! Terrible

I bought it as gift. The person gets it was very happy.

This is cute and easy to use. The only con is that it does not go very fast. So the kids are more inclined to use other hoover board.

We followed the instructions, fully charged the board before the first ride. My kid had a blast. Charged it again after use. My kid went to turn it on and the hovering won't turn on. It will only turn on when the hoverboard is connected to the charger. The app displays that the battery is fully charged. It will not turn on when it's not connected to the charger. My kid only got to use it once. Huge disappointment.
