    Works very well and bought to protect camera lense. I do need to take it off when taking photos of bright objects in low light as there tends to be a halo/glare effect.

    This is a great little lens it helps for pictures for like the lights but it also helps protect the lens really helpful I’m happy I got it

    I like to use Hoya UV filters to protect my lens against scratches, dirt, etc. and this fits the bill. However, I returned this to get the newer Hoya XLT Plus with a waterproof top coat that is now available for a few dollars more. I would have purchased that at Best Buy had it been available.

    I do notice a slight difference but only in extremely bright conditions. I read that a uv filter isn't really needed any more with todays digital cameras. with that said it does offer a level of protection to the lens.
