    A necessary component to any lens (make sure you know the diameter of the lens). I always keep this filter to remain onto the lens because it protects the more expensive camera lens! Furthermore, it "cuts" UV haze and minor anomalies out of those sky and water pictures (not to be confused with a polarizing filter).

    Upon removing this filter from the packaging, it was so clear that is seemed as though the glass was missing. Attached to my camera lens, for protection, it's invisible. Clear as a bell and saves the lens from any chance irreversible damage. I have these on all my lenses.
