I purchased this chromebook under the impression that it had a backlit keyboard. It was the main and only reason why i purchesed this specific one. They have it advertised as having a backlit keyboard but it does not. Is awesome chromebook just disapointed in the keyboard

I love my laptop it’s a 4 start rating because it gets the job done but since there’s no hard drive I can’t save information to the device it’s all cloud based which protects me from viruses but makes saving documents a little difficult. I would rebuy.

Best thing made for people who just like to check their email and surf online. It has a very light operating system. But I don't yet know how it would start working once you start saving a lot of things on it.

It’s a good laptop for college students, I like it!

Kind of difficult to use. Not what I would prefer.

We bought this computer for our son's 9th birthday. He loves this computer. You can use a mouse or just touch the screen to navigate. This was a great starter laptop for our son. He does everything from homework to watching YouTube.

This chromebook is fast to load from sleep or off. Chrome browser is fast and laptop has plenty of memory space for me. Only had a problem twice in first 60 days that required another computer to perform. One was a password restricted excel document.

No good for me. Instead of having fun I would rather use Internet Explorer or Firefox but this thing runs on Chrome as an operating system and it was just confusing to use. I could download PDFs but I couldn't view them on this particular machine.

like all things its a learning experience.i finds it much different then the norm of pc's. have not really done to much on it like downloading but am sure i will. find some of it is hard to figure out such as my bookmarks and some other issues.

I really love my Chromebook! The only problem is that you cannot download certain software but overall the conveniency more than makes up for it. I would definitely recommend to someone who uses a laptop mostly for internet functionality.

I'm a PC guy but travel for work and often go online to pass time in the hotels. Works okay for that although sometimes it fights me to sign in to a hotel WiFi. Generally get in, but annoying.

Not the fastest laptop in the world but it serves its purpose. The OS being Google vs the standards (Windows, MAC OS or Linux) is definitely different but there is a flare of the three mentioned as you navigate. Great for teens.

Bought as a gift for my nephew, but he needed additional access for gaming. Exchanged for a different one. Would served its purpose just fine if it’s just for school.

If you want a practical and on the go laptop this is great will Probably work best at places like libraries coffee shops with great internet. Sometimes slow at home regardless of internet speed

You get what you pay for with this computer. It does Chrome well and is good for web surfing. But that is about it. Solid second computer to have for quick outings.

While I do prefer Chrome as my search engine this has some odd limitations. Attempting to log in to a Hotel wifi that obviously was not secure I had to waste time trying to bypass the fail-safe security.

My daughter loves her laptop. It's done everything that she's needed to do at school. It is really good battery life and she can sit and watch Netflix too. She's able to do her school work anywhere.

Bought it for my grandmother, who is befuddled by the goofiness of Windows, security and updates and who only surfs the web and annoys me on Facebook. Perfect replacement for her aging, underpowered PC.

Ended up being something I could use, but was not the “laptop” I was looking for. It’s very similar to the Apps I have in my phone, and I wanted something I could use to download and save music.
