This laptop is great and the price was unbeatable! Not only is its functionality very user friendly, it’s also beautiful and chic!

Got this for my young kids. It runs okay. It is a very basic, low-end computer, which is perfect for their needs. However, it seems a little slower than I expected, even for very simple online games. Compared to a 20+ yr old laptop they had been using, which seemed slightly faster. Hoping it’s just some settings I can tweak

My old Sony Vaio died on me during a critical timeframe of applying to school. I purchased this in a rush due to time constraints and financial obligations. I was absolutely blown away at the quality and overall performance of this computer. I thought I was buying it for the moment and would then be purchasing something of “Higher Quality” in the near future. I was completely wrong, and this will remain my laptop throughout my academic journey.

Bought one for my mother and one for myself to use for online banking. Works great for what we needed it for. Speed is good for banking, or a college kid, but not good for a gamer.

Small but a good fit for a senior. Light weight, good speed when searching compatable with my Canon printer, runs all windows applications.

The sale caught my eye as a handy portable laptop for my basic digital uses . Battery life projection is one factor as well as affordability for a senior citizen. Also Windows 11 and Microsoft Edge are an easy transition from my other laptop, which is also an HP -- also from Best Buy, but it had issues.

Purchased for my child to have a basic laptop to be able to take the SAT and other online testing and it worked great. Its not for power users or gaming but overall a great machine for getting online. Not to mention inexpensive enough that if it was dropped or misplaced it wouldn't be enough to cry over.

So I don't know if we just got a dud or if Microsoft is really being that difficult, but we got our computer to get home tried to install the one bit of software that was the entire purpose of purchasing the computer and it wouldn't let us do it. I knew that I had to switch it out of s mode because s mode is what Microsoft's forces on every computer that they put out now which means you can't download anything unless it's a Microsoft application or software. The good news is there is a way to get rid of this, the bad news is it wouldn't let us do the steps to get rid of it. What you're supposed to be able to do is go into the Microsoft app store and download something from there that turns off s mode. Which again is frustrating that you have to take the extra steps to download something else to get rid of something that you don't want they really need to make it a setting that you can just go into the settings of your computer and turn on and off. So we go to the app store to get the things so it can be turned off and it tells us we can't download that until we update the store except we can't update the store when the store is open but the only way to update the store is by pressing a button inside the store. After three adults tried to figure out how to make this work for hours, my husband finally took it back to Best Buy and told them if they can't get it to shut off we need our money back because it is absolutely worthless as a computer if we can't download software which was the entire reason we purchased it. They ended up keeping it overnight and supposedly they have fixed the issue so we'll see how it goes from there. I will definitely update this with lower Stars if the machine itself sucks but for now it's getting three stars simply because of s mode and all the trouble that we had to go through just for that.

The letters on the keys are difficult to see but otherwise good size and works well
