Had the computer about 2 years and has worked good. As it gets older it does update slower but still reliable

Yes this laptop is a piece of garbage and the only place it belongs is in the trash can. Now here me out I needed a laptop ONLY for Office and a few tabs to ONLY do my college work as I can't do it well in iPad since it's apps related. I upgraded the pathetic 4GB ram that already came with this laptop to a 32GB! Of course it got faster but now the problem was the super slow CPU and SSD. Even upgrading the ram to 32GB I could not play a youtube video without it having to buffer. Even if I had put a 128GB of ram the same issue. Long story short I will be keeping this garbage as a temporary laptop for only office and college until I save money for a few months and buy myself the new MacBook Pro. For those of you considering buying this laptop PLEASE DONT. That 4gb will all go to Windows's resources. Even when I upgraded to 32GB I would see the laptop was taking 6.6GB of ram with only office open! Remember you get what you pay for. I would not even suggest this laptop to my worst enemy. Also don't be fooled by it being quad core because it certainly feels single core. The CPU is almost at 100% usage when in idle! If you love HP please buy a decent HP that runs around $700.

Good cheap laptop I used for tuning my car I wouldn’t recommend for gaming because it’s too slow but for work it would work

This is a horribly slow laptop. It was meant to be donated to my Church, but they would only have been frustrated waiting for the browser to load. I'm not talking about the webpage loading, I'm saying the browser takes about 15 seconds to open. Once I decided to return this to the BestBuy store, I needed to reset the operating system so that no personal data would be retrievable. This failed again and again, only stating that "Something went wrong". For over a week I continued trying until it finally worked and my data was safely removed. I then tried to return it to BestBuy, but was told because it was over the two week period from purchase, they could not take it back, even for store credit. This is the opposite of Customer Service. I have bought two laptops from BestBuy in the past 6 months. I have bought at least 10 in the past several years. I was returning this with everything intact, including the black insert to protect the screen and all of the packaging. I have been an IT professional for 30 years. I manage IT Technicians across the US and Canada for a global client. I can't tell you how very disappointed I am in BestBuy for not extending any options at all for a very disappointing purchase. This laptop will sit unused, and I've lost the purchase price because I was trying to be responsible and clear the data while preserving the original OS.

I bought 2 laptop for my grandsons and they love them they look nice and they work fine. The price was right and was a perfect Christmas gift for them. No complains. They love them.

I like this new version of this laptop and I am glad that I was approved to do payment plan to obtain it.

I bought this little laptop for traveling with. I love it, so lightweight and easily fits in my carry on personal bag. I love the Snowflake white color and the price and that it already had the office programs I need installed on it and ready to go.

Not a bad laptop if you are looking for something to just do simple tasks. Does run a little slow. The color is great.

Good easy to use computer great display and light weight

This computer meets the needs for me as a college student it doesn’t lag. The storage capacity is great for numerous assignments. It’s slim and lightweight and holds a good charge

Laptop has done its job however i have run into the issue of it not wanting to start up. It will sometimes flash a black screen and not start for 15 mins. I have been able to work around it and use it for its intentions. My last laptop is from 2012 so i needed an upgrade but didnt want to break the bank. Its good for the price and does get the work done

Perfect for personal use. Low internal memory I think will be an issue in the future but have read other reviews about getting an external hard drive and having no issues with that. Great buy for the price.
